DIS Dads DDC XXVII: Penguins in Paradise!

At their age, my kids could never do 24 hours. Fuel me up on Mountain Dew and deep fried Snickers and I'm game to give it a shot.

Might as well deep fry the Mountain Dew while your at it, and toss in a double serving of cheese curds.


Myself, I’d be game with or with out the fried fuel.
I just need someone to pay for the park access, lodging and travel.

Any takers on that one?

Tofu

The scariest part is that this was my first thought, but I just wanted to toss it out here to see if there were any better ideas.

Been off the grid for a few days but trying to catch up. Ahhh, gotta love business trips where the schedule crams 5 days of work into a 2 day bag.

Happy birthdays to the kids, save that bacon from the crashed truck, there should be no need for a reason to drink beer, hope all with the allergies clear up soon, congrats to Pirate Princess on the CC team and looking forward to tonight for rounds 2 & 3 of the NFL draft.

Happy Friday to all and a great and safe weekend with all the kids activities - especially the soccer fields for all fighting the allergies - good luck with that.

It has mass and takes up space so by the definitions of physics it qualifies as “matter" …
but that’s about it.

Just talked to the kid. She had a tryout with Seton Hall's Cross Country Coach and is now a walk-on for the team. She begins practicing with them next week. The NCAA clearing house paperwork needs be completed to make her eligible but that is a formality. Pretty proud of her.

So watch out Big East. Next Fall, the shiv carrying Pirate Princess will be gunning for you.

Ok, guys, I need some help.

I'm creating trophies for the DDC fantasy baseball league. I'm going to make a trophy for the teams with the largest margin of victory/defeat in their weekly match. The winning trophy will be bacon, but what is the opposite of bacon?


And I've already used Beverly for the lowest score of the week.

So not only do I have to endure a horrible team but now you are planning to arrange a momento for me. Gee, thanks.

I was going to ask for the same thing. I couldn't do it without any food, but I so want to be in the parks for 24 hours.

But I've got to admit, I did feel sorry for Justin as I was assigning awards for the first 3 weeks.

Awesome band. My favorite of their's was "The Night Pat Murphy Died". Primarily because one of my closest friends is named Pat Murphy and we always would remind him of how we would toast him if he ever passed on.

Hey guys, made it home a couple of hours ago from another awesome, sold-out GBS show. The Night Pat Murphy Died was sung to losts of clapping, singing and dancing along with many other of their best songs from the last 20 years. We had great seats, front row on the right side of the stage.
