I went to high school with the daughter of our preacher, and we were pretty good friends. She basically grew up with my wife and they are extremely close.

Anyway, she left home to attend school in one of those southern states and then served in the Army as a nurse. She spent a few years on a base in Hawaii and just a few months ago returned from a deployment in Afghanistan and moved back home. Long story short, in her time away from home, she got married and had a couple of kids that are actually close to our kids ages. Her husband is a great guy, so we've been trying to have our families spend some time together lately.

We're going over to their house to watch the game tonight and he is the biggest Crimson Tide fan I've ever met. I'm seriously contemplating showing up decked out in blue and gold, just to irritate him. :rotfl::rotfl2::lmao:

This ain't SEC country.:thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Yeah, good luck with that! :thumbsup2

Interesting discussion on Mad Dog Radio this morning. Should RG3 have played yesterday?

No.

I guess I was used to it.. :confused3

I haven't run in shorts in a while. :lmao:

:rotfl:

I would love for it to be in the low 50s at the start, but I'll take it being much warmer. Sure it means I'll run slower, but it'll make the rest of the time in the parks much better.

I agree. I doubt it will hit 70 before we finish, so it shouldn't be too bad...

4 sleeps and I'll be riding on one of these!!!

:banana::banana::banana: 3 for me! :woohoo:

What do you guys think?

I think.....NO!

They have a back up that is pretty good and the last thing you want to do is seriously injure your rookie franchise quarterback. Forget about winning and losing. It's going to be a tough day today if they find out he needs surgery during his MRI today.

Just my opinion. I certainly would have pulled him at half time when you could clearly see him limping and knew he was not 100%.

Finally - someone that I'm getting to WDW before! :rotfl2:

Seems like everyone else is getting there today or tomorrow!

Woohoo!! :yay: :woohoo:

I think we're getting there within 15 minutes of each other!! :rotfl:

I'm just glad that you, Chris and Carl are going solo too so that I have some people to hang out with and not feel like a third/fourth/fifth wheel all day! :rotfl:

It's gonna be great Paul - can't wait.

I've been watching the flight that I'm taking and it seems they "usually" arrive 10 minutes or so early!

Mine's scheduled to land at 11:15a - and Chris's around 10:45a. He said he'd wait for me at ME.

What time to do you land?

You might beat me then! Mine is scheduled for 11:40, but it never gets there that late. It got in today at 11:05, so I am thinking it's probably going to get in somewhere before 11:20 or so...

I'll try to meet up with you guys at ME, but if my flight is later, no worries; we're taking different busses anyways. I'll just plan on checking in and dropping my stuff of at the hotel and meeting you guys at MK for lunch...

I have plenty of ND gear if you need to borrow some :thumbsup2:rotfl2:

I agree, they should have atleast pulled him earlier than they did. I was surprised that he walked off after that bad snap turnover.

Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not jumping on the bandwagon, and if they win, I don't want to have to hear about it from the ND football/IU basketball fans that make up most of the fan demographics around here.

That said, I think I have to support the local school over an SEC school this year. :confused3

That's kind of what I thought... :rotfl:

Hey, I resemble that remark :lmao: For the record I grew up near ND and graduated from IU. I do root for ND basketball and IU football as well.

At jury pool. 12% chance I'll get picked. I am hoping so. Attorneys have expensive suits, so maybe I can get a big bribe. :lmao:

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Sounds good!

I'll PM you my cell # so we can get in touch.

Go ahead and text me back so I have yours!

Don't you have long drives for work sometimes? If so, go to the library and get some of the audiobooks from this series. I think they're written by a guy names Stephen Hunter. "I, Sniper" and "Havana" are really good. "Shooter" is one of the weaker ones- not sure why that's the one to get turned in to a movie.

But they are all day drives. Driving in from the woods an hour for an hour dance class every night would stink.

Don't do it! DW bought a ND shirt for DD to wear to school today (she goes to a Catholic school). They were allowed to wear ND gear instead of the uniform today and DW feared DD would feel left out. I tried to argue that wasn't fair to bribe kids into wearing that beverly and instead we should send her to school in her Illini gear. I lost that battle.

Catholic peer pressure rules.

To those headed to convention... you suck. Have a great time!

Andy, did you get a job writing greeting cards at Hallmark?

On a positive note, DS hit a 3 point shot with 40 seconds to go to tie our hoop game this weekend. Then stole the ball, hit two free throws with 13 seconds left and we captured a come from behind win! Then DD10 knocked down a 3 point shot and a deep jumper from the corner to start off her game yesterday. Good weekend for family hoops.:thumbsup2

Man all this convention talk has me bummed that I'm not going, but I'll be there soon enough, no ticker cuz that just bummed me out more last trip

Don't do it! It's a trap!:duck:

Still here. Didn't get called for the first 30. It's a medical malpractice trial from what I have figured out thus far. Married couple in 50s suing ER, Dr group, and 1 Dr specifically. They have already dismissed 10 for knowing parties, as there are 10 attorneys involved. Also, it is a week long trial. Even if I could just be an alternate, then I get out of work. 40 out of 100 chance and still no luck.
