Will take the kids tobogganing after lunch....

Probably a bridge or a road in the state of Delaware. :confused3

Nah, that sounds too much like real work. This is a state job.

Remember work…
Better to forget.

Unless you’re one of those folk that enjoys their job.
Then, bless you.

Um...no.

Thanks for asking.
She's ok. Today is her last full day here. She had a rough night when she discovered she didn't have room to pack everything she wanted to bring back. Either that or she was cranky because she knew it was about time to leave. Also, ya know how she said "yes" to adoption? Not exactly. She's open to it and is still considering it. In other words, she doesn't know what she's going to do. We hate that we had to do this, but we gave here a deadline. She needs to let us know before she leaves (in about 24 hours) what she's going to do. We can't leave this door open forever, not fair to my family to do that. So in the next 24 hours, I should find out if I'll be a dad again. Of course, if she goes back and we find out a week later that she wants in, we'll still take her. But in that instance we would still be missing the very important aspect of hearing it from her own mouth. When we get an e-mail saying she wants to be in our family, there's no telling if she was coerced or if someone is putting words in her mouth.

Hope it works out. I'm sorry it wasn't quite a fairy-tale visit, but you're right that you can't go in circles forever.

And that's why I don't drink coffee. The nicest word I can use to describe any coffee I've ever drank is bad. :rotfl::rotfl2::lmao:

I found both coffee and beer to be acquired tastes. Of course, I still dump a lot of sugar in mine. The coffee, I mean. I'm not sure what it would do to beer.

I havent' checked the hour-by-hour forecast. The high temps are in the 70's so it may be in the 60's for part of the race. If it were 50 degrees for the whole thing, that'd be fine by me.

Wow I hope she made the right choice and that everything works out for your family.

I do have a Keurig...

But in the morning I drink almost a pot of coffee... so instead of K-cups, I do a fresh pot...

Just made a K-cup though.
I'm in your boat. I drink almost a pot by myself. Do you have the refillable mesh basket for your kuerig?

that's nice said:
LOL

Thanks for the reminder.

Hope your non-impact training is going well and your legs are starting to heal.

.

It's really hard looking at the pic on my phone. I keep yelling "enhance" at it but the picture doesn't get any clearer. Looks like some kind o lighter colored meat and doesn't look sliced. Maybe 6 inch Tuna?

My wife had the great idea to have 3 of friends families spend the night to celebrate new years. I wound up cooking 6 pounds of bacon for everyone and it was all eaten. Making that giant pile of bacon made me think of ya'll.

Disney related question. We put an offer on some SSR points which was accepted. We sent our paperwork in about a month ago. The seller has said "they're sending their paperwork tomorrow" twice and it's yet to be received. How long would you give the seller before you backed out of the deal? Can you back out once you've sent your signed closing documents?

I've never acquired the taste for coffee. I tried it again at a family Christmas gathering and about spit it across the room.

Now beer on the other hand... :drinking1

I have no idea how all this works, but did you buy through one of the resale brokers? Surely they'd have someone who could help you with this. I'd think if they aren't upholding their end of the deal by getting the paperwork submitted, you'd definitely have grounds to back out.

But I'm not a lawyer or a real estate expert... good luck! :thumbsup2

About as well as any training that includes sitting on the couch and doing nothing can go.

Actually my right legs feels pretty good. My left legs still hurts. This aught to make for an interesting morning on the 12th. :sad2:

Well, would have been easier before it was eaten. :lmao:
:lmao::lmao: :lmao::lmao:

Congrats on another girl :)
Ok, I was a little slow on this one. I read it 3 or 4 times thinking "what the beverly??"

Congrats! :thumbsup2
Thanks!!!! This will be the last kid. I'm setting up an appointment for the *snip* once I get back from Florida. :scared1:

Personally, I would have backed out by now, since I assume it hasn't even gone through ROFR , that's way to much time , on mine the paper work got delivered on a Monday and theirs sometime around then cuz it was sent to ROFR by Thursday , so all the paperwork was done within a week, if they are shady on their paper work now, and say it takes 30 days for Disney to refuse, then I would assume they will also be like this with the closing paperwork the whole process for me took about a month and a half yours sounds like it could be double that, my vote is back out find another prob better contract

Why do people eat so much ice cream in the winter:confused3, I might be able to get out of work on time in the winter if everyone eased up on the ice cream:lmao:

Hope things keep getting better for you and all the other DisDads...
good luck at the doctor. :thumbsup2

DW got back from Audrey's follow-up to her tests. End result was a viral infection that is cleared up now, all is good. Bonus is she and DW got their flu shots, so we are all covered too.

Nope. Mommy and daddy have a weekend without the kids! Well, one will be with us but she will behave. ;)

Congrats!

Ah, but what of coffee-flavoured beer? :rotfl2:

Moose with Pickled Beaver.

That almost sounds dirty.

We've already made it through ROFR. This is just waiting for their docs to make it to the attorney for closing. As soon as they lawyers get their docs everything will be done. It's because we're so close that I have been hanging on. I made just need to cut my losses and start over again though.

Well, let me just say that I love chocolate and chocolate shakes. Well, when McDonalds came out with their McCafe stuff and they had pictures of some iced chocolate coffee of some sort, I thought that might not be too bad so I tried one.

I don't think I made it out of the parking lot before I rolled down my window and dumped it out. :rolleyes1

I do have the "My K-Cup".

But I find it brews it a little weak... So what I do is cut a paper filter, put it in he mesh basket, and it comes out perfect.
