True! It was actually raining pretty good here this morning, so I had to make a pitstop halfway through and change into a second pair!

Did four guys run out with a chair jack and shoes? Hate to think where the gas can went. :lmao:

Wow that is rough, is she cool with not saying anything to younger DD? I remember a lot of stuff changed at that point

Yes. We figured she already knew, or was questioning it enough.

Don't eat fish, just take pictures of them. Went out today and did one dive. Not sure if I got anything worth looking at until I download them.

I also have a rough day. .

Poor CJ. You really don't eat fish? Only shellfish?

DD has a choral concert at the mall later this morning. Don't think there are any solo's, other than the cup my "water" will be in.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hope the concert goes well. If you take a water bottle instead of a cup you don't have to worry about another parent bumping into you.

I so agree with you. I got dirty looks, but tested the waters and opened my mouth. It turns out that.......I love DD's teacher. She agrees that the report cards are stupid and that the "everyone gets a trophy" culture we live in is pretty much the reason for this grading system. We had a lot in common and I think the rest of the year will go very well.

I did get reprimanded after the meeting, but at least it wasn't because I made another teacher angry.:thumbsup2

Glad the meeting went well. It's good to know you have a partner in the teacher.

Fun morning ahead of us...

DD gets the distinct pleasure of going to the dentist in 45 minutes, and getting a tooth yanked from her gums!

Wish us (more her) luck.
Yuck! Hope she does well. Does the tooth fairy bring extra for yanked teeth?

Well, another mile stone. Oldest dd (10) has reached the Christmas final conclusion. Part of me is sad, but another part is relieved.
That's a big milestone. How do you think she figured it out. DS has implied that he's figured it out, but our kids get presents from us and a big present or two from Santa. I think he's afraid he'll miss out on presents if he says too much.

Hey guys. Hope everyone's enjoying their saturday. Ran 19 miles this morning. Time to rest. :thumbsup2
Glad the run went well, even if it was wet. My 12 mile run stretched to 15.5 cause my buddy and I both felt good. Ran another 8 with DW after that. Resting now before our church Christmas party. The idea of standing and dancing is not really all that appealing now.

I ran that far about five years ago when I was going to run a local marathon. It really gave me an appreciation for good shoes!!
It makes you appreciate good shoes and cars.

And the guard dogs are at the vet. The next door neighbor is a Fed and they keep a close eye on the house when I am away. You better get clearance before you park the RV though.

I also have a rough day. Was up at six for breakfast, then at the boat by 7:30. Twenty minute boat ride to the reef then 40 minutes underwater. Skipped the second dive so had to sit in the sun on the boat. That was pretty tragic because we didn't bring any beer (poor planning). Crabcakes for lunch and probably a nap in a bit. Have an urge to have steamed clams for dinner. Real bummer of a day.

OUCH! Best of luck to her.

Don't blink. If you do, the next time you look up they will be off to college.

The Cheetah ran 12 miles last Monday. She was going for 20 yesterday but it was raining so she did 6 on their indoor track. Going to try again for 20 on Monday.
Sounds like a pretty great day. I hope you got some good shots. Its always nice to live vicariously through our resident Jacques Cousteau. PP seems to be preparing really well for the marathon.

I'm pretty sure it's a water bottle and it goes in his mouth. if you consume things using a different orifice it probably makes dinner time entertaining.

Tell her that her friends from Sandusky, OH are thinking of her!

Good luck to her!

She survived... Here she is afterwards, as you can see she is quite happy (because she got to flip the switch)!

Earlier in the year, she caught the the tooth fairy. I tried to play it off, but obviously was unsuccessful. I guess she just finally added it all up. She initially told DW and I talked to her today about it. She said that friends at school told her, and since she had info on the tooth fairy, she solved the puzzle. She was not as concerned about getting presents because of her younger sister, but we talked about that as well.

I'm pretty sure it's a water bottle and it goes in his mouth. if you consume things using a different orifice it probably makes dinner time entertaining.

To keep us this metaphor, what did they rip off for the windshield tear?

Was someone chasing you?

The penguins.

Paul and Ryan!

Congrats Paul!

I don't think I've run that far combining all the times I've ever run in my life! :rotfl2:

Thanks.... glad it's over... for now!

Blisters are an under estimated obstacle

Think I made out ok. Switching out shoes and socks halfway through was the right move...;)

No. My DD4 and DS1 were going nuts at home though, so there was plenty of reason to go run for 3 hours... :lmao:

Hanukkah Night 1 - complete

Kids are now glued to the Wii with their Just Dance: Disney Dance Party.

Kids watching Frosty now, DW is heading off to her office Christmas Party, I'll crack open a beer really soon. :thumbsup2

Seeing as we bought a couple to many Hanukkah Presents this year... she may get a Wii game for a Yanked tooth... :rotfl2:
