I remember Dragon's Den from BBC from a fewe year back. I don't remember seeing these two on it. I also liked the Kitchen Nightmares from BBC with restaurants in England. Less drama and more entertaining.

You watched the British version...

They are from the Canadian Version... which has been out for a few years before Shark Tank.

For allt he hard work you do in finding random pictures and Gifs...

Fun morning ahead of us...

DD gets the distinct pleasure of going to the dentist in 45 minutes, and getting a tooth yanked from her gums!

Wish us (more her) luck.

Poor thing!

Atleast she got to enjoy a Hanukkah meal before getting it yanked!

Tell her that her friends from Sandusky, OH are thinking of her!

Never seen that one.

Good luck to her.

DD has a choral concert at the mall later this morning. Don't think there are any solo's, other than the cup my "water" will be in.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Because the metal flask is just too obvious.

I was going to get it at Redbox, but they don't get it until the 24th :confused3

Saw it on the big screen. One of the few. I thought it was a lot more intense than the others.

I so agree with you. I got dirty looks, but tested the waters and opened my mouth. It turns out that.......I love DD's teacher. She agrees that the report cards are stupid and that the "everyone gets a trophy" culture we live in is pretty much the reason for this grading system. We had a lot in common and I think the rest of the year will go very well.

I did get reprimanded after the meeting, but at least it wasn't because I made another teacher angry.:thumbsup2

I'm all for participation medals, but when did competition become a bad thing?

Happy Saturday morning to all. I hope you all have a good weekend.

Time you scoot :moped:. Baseball practice finishing up, DD caroling at the mall, DD hoops, DD soccer, DS hoops and then a Christmas party. Should be a crazy day.

Sounds like a busy day and you'll be competing with lots of traffic and the space time continuum. Me, younger dd has soccer and sleepover with a friend. Now, if I can dump off the older one one someone, it will be a peaceful day.

Well, another mile stone. Oldest dd (10) has reached the Christmas final conclusion. Part of me is sad, but another part is relieved.

:
Sounds interesting. I paid $12 for a pint of some Italian microbrew at Via Napoli last month. It's about the same price. Not sure if I'd pay that. :confused3

Is that $76 American or Canadian?

Canadian...thank goodness....

I had a lady pay in US cash for something yesterday. When I hit the conversion key, it came out to more.:rotfl2:

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:This had to be one of the funniest blitzes I've seen in a long long time...thank you.

:lmao: Yeah, it was a bit long...

I ran that far about five years ago when I was going to run a local marathon. It really gave me an appreciation for good shoes!!

True! It was actually raining pretty good here this morning, so I had to make a pitstop halfway through and change into a second pair!

Wow that is rough, is she cool with not saying anything to younger DD? I remember a lot of stuff changed at that point

Blisters are an under estimated obstacle

You know what they say.....Safety first.

Did you at least have fish for lunch?:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Don't eat fish, just take pictures of them. Went out today and did one dive. Not sure if I got anything worth looking at until I download them.

CJ is away having lunch watching the ocean. No funds until Monday. HAHA! Time to move in before he gets back.

And the guard dogs are at the vet. The next door neighbor is a Fed and they keep a close eye on the house when I am away. You better get clearance before you park the RV though.

I also have a rough day. Was up at six for breakfast, then at the boat by 7:30. Twenty minute boat ride to the reef then 40 minutes underwater. Skipped the second dive so had to sit in the sun on the boat. That was pretty tragic because we didn't bring any beer (poor planning). Crabcakes for lunch and probably a nap in a bit. Have an urge to have steamed clams for dinner. Real bummer of a day.

Don't blink. If you do, the next time you look up they will be off to college.

The Cheetah ran 12 miles last Monday. She was going for 20 yesterday but it was raining so she did 6 on their indoor track. Going to try again for 20 on Monday.
