I remember Dragon's Den from BBC from a fewe year back. I don't remember seeing these two on it. I also liked the Kitchen Nightmares from BBC with restaurants in England. Less drama and more entertaining.

One crazy thing has been happening the last few weeks, apparently we are getting in a small supply of a very hard to get Belgian beer, Westvleteren 12. It got a write up, and since then, I've been bombarded with inquiries about it. This freaking 6 pack is going to be $76 freaking dollars!! Really????? People want to shell out this for that? Might come with glasses too, but still, it'd better come with the goose laying the golden egg as well. Beeen plagued today with calls about it, I don;t even know if my store wil get any.

I'm going to run on it tomorrow. I think I'm going to run at the track. Might be a little softer on the leg than concrete. Not sure how long I'll make it. I'd be happy with 3-4 miles. I hope I don't get dizzy going round and round.

We checked it out at 1030 and it was lined up already. Decided to check again at 11 and brave it if it want much longer. Got there at 11 and waited about 50 min.

50 minutes sounds reasonable given it's newness and that everyone wants to get in. How was the food? So far I have heard a few mixed reviews.

DS had a choral concert at the mall last night. In the car he very excitedly said "Dad I have a solo in White Christmas" . I was excited for him so I asked what part. His response was " the part about palm trees in LA" ... Hmmm turns out his choral teacher took some liberties with that song.

DD has a choral concert at the mall later this morning. Don't think there are any solo's, other than the cup my "water" will be in.

We have the 1-4 system too. The most frustrating part of it is that it's very arbitrary. You used to be able to take a test and you could tell by how many you got right whether it was an a b or c. WIth the 1-4 system you can do everything perfectly and still come out with a 3. I don't like any measurement system that is based on opinion rather than fact.

I so agree with you. I got dirty looks, but tested the waters and opened my mouth. It turns out that.......I love DD's teacher. She agrees that the report cards are stupid and that the "everyone gets a trophy" culture we live in is pretty much the reason for this grading system. We had a lot in common and I think the rest of the year will go very well.

I did get reprimanded after the meeting, but at least it wasn't because I made another teacher angry.

No fish pictures to post today. The seas were rocking and we decided to not go out. Going tomorrow though. Did decide to go out and have a nice lunch. Spent the afternoon at a bar overlooking the ocean. Yea I know, my life sucks.

Evening...work was quite busy today, although after 7 or so it seemed to quiet down. For 3 hours of running cash now and then, I rang through over $4000 Sold a lot of freaking beer today too. Ended up in the filming too, portrays me showing up the boss. Just like real life! I smell Oscar!
