Prayers and good thoughts go out to Dave's DW and family, glad she's going to be ok

Morning David and all the Dads!

I have been here for 20 minutes or so. Can I go home now and play xbox?

matt

You have my permission. Will that work?

Good morning fellow dads, hope all is well, don't really have any news or much to say. I just have nothing better to do right now :)

And said so nicely.

I received this text from Dave at about 8pm last night.

Prayers.

Me???

Confused here... :confused3

You confused or confusing?

Morning Guys. Ordered my gift exchange presents this morning.

Thanks for all the vacation tips. DW and I have mostly settled on Aruba as I can trade FF miles to cover most of the trip, but I did throw out a 3 night cruise on the Dream with 2 or 3 days at the swan as an alternative.

Oooo - interesting plan. Especially if you add in a stop by Club Cool for a nice cold Beverly on your way to Mission: Space (Orange, of course). :thumbsup2

A kind of Culinary Iron-man Triathlon.
I won’t be attempting that one either.

This could be like a disdad pentathalon.
1. Kitchen Sink
2. Pedal around boardwalk on the Surrey Bikes
3. Drink X cups of Beverly
4. Mission Space Orange.
5. Watch a 360 film (china or Canada)

During the olympics someone suggested that the Decathalon would be a lot more interesting if it were 10 sports chosen at random. I think this would make it so much more interesting. Fencing to diving to gymnastics to boxing etc..

Look what arrived in the mail from Ron. Hmmmm, so things do make it past Stitch. Where are all those dues dole whips, bacon, beer, or cake? Or, does Stitch not like caramel popcorn.:lmao:

Well Karmel Kuche is German and Santa Claus has both Germanic and Greek influences. Maybe the Kuche people used the german ties to get Santa Claus to deliver this and everyone knows Stitch can't stop Santa.

What is this thing called non-Disney vacation? They do have a Disney resort in Hilton Head, Vero Beach, and Hawaii for those trips.

Can you use APs at the different resorts? If you get APs at WDW, can you use them at DL?
There are a couple of levels of APs we have the very lowest non florida resident APs they can only be used at the 4 main parks in florida. The premium APs can be used at the 4 main parks, the water parks and disney quest. Its substantially more to get pass that can be used at both parks.

Well today's specialist visit has turned into three more appointments now, including tomorrow morning. Another work day missed, just as well, stomach is not keeping much down. :crazy2:

Good news though, this Doc gets right to the point and wants to cover all angles to make sure a proper diagnosis is reached. I like that.
I know running around having tests done is no fun and can be stressful. I'll be praying for your family. Hopefully they can figure out what's going on so they can go about resolving it.

You must be talking about one of those Upper Canadians.
Isn't upper Canada in the arctic circle? So are upper canadians penguins or polar bears.

Morning guys!
Morning Nemesis. Happy first hump day at the new job.

A work colleague from Nashville brought me a quart of peach flavored moonshine not too long ago. It was quite syrupy and not all that bad. He's supposed to be bringing me a different flavor in the next week or so.

This coming weekend we are having our annual Glogg party. Always a fun, drunken time!

Sounds like a fun time.

Now flavored might not be bad, I had straight no flavor, it was like drinking everclear:crazy2:

Never had flavored. You may have just had a bad batch. The occasions I tried it tasted different, which I guess means they aged it or used different ingredients.

Wednesday logic ownage.

That's great logic about Stitch and thanks for info on passes.

Upper Canada is what the part in orange was called a long time ago.

Now we use it to poke fun at people in Ontario.

Speaking of which, Brian I see there was a championship parade in Toronto yesterday. Have you ever seen one of those before?

Am I being punked? Upper Canada is on the bottom of Canada? Is this the canadian equivalent of calling a frozen place "Greenland"

The ultimate would be to take on the Kitchen Sink, then saunter back into Epcot and tackle Mission:Space. It would give new perspective to the phrase "blow out your candles..." :lmao:
:thumbsup2

We went to Beaches in cream the night after the marathon with the intention of sharing a kitchen sink. When we got there we all agreed we were too tired, so we wound up getting milkshakes or ice cream cones. Too tired to eat ice cream was a new level of tired for me.
Too tired for ice cream?!? Luckily I'm only doing the half marathon - gotta save my energy for Ohana that night.

Don't give me ideas. My wife won't appreciate it.
What does she care? She doesn't have to hose down the ride when you're done.:confused3

With that exciting new, I have to add, apparently since I do not pay them to watch DD on weekends, I have to also ride in the float, not happy about that but I'll gladly do that for DD, especially since she's so excited about it
Start practicing your princess wave. Wrist, Wrist, Elbow, Elbow.

Have you ever really said anything?
There was that one ti.....wait, no. Not even then.

Good luck. Hope it's nothing serious.

Yeah, I never wanted to go to Dr. House if I got sick. He tried to kill the patient for 55 minutes before getting the right dx and treatment. :lmao:

Wow, hope she's OK. They're going through a bunch of stuff with Briana - they really don't need anything else.

Am I being punked? Upper Canada is on the bottom of Canada? Is this the canadian equivalent of calling a frozen place "Greenland"

So if upper Canada is actually at the bottom, maybe all those crazy "u"s that they put in stuff are actually supposed to be "n"s. Hmmm.....

:rotfl:

When Canada was first founded there was 4 provinces - Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Upper Canada, and Lower Canada. Upper Canada later became Ontario and Lower Canada became Quebec.

Thanks for stopping by for today's history lesson.

That being said...

I triple dog dare you!
:rolleyes1

Andy, it is a TRIPLE dog dare afterall.... :confused3

I don't even know if we'll have time to go to Beaches and Cream... but now I'm more motivated than ever to try to make it happen. :rolleyes1

If you decide not to do a park one day, head over to that area at night. One of my favorite restaurants, ESPN club, is over there. Then, a short walk over for that Kitchen Sink. But, walk back over to the Boardwalk and check out the free entertainment. They usually have a magician, plate spinner, or other act(s) doing street performances. And, the acts move around the Boardwalk, so that you can sit on a bench without moving and the kids can run to watch the performance.
I've done that before... just never made it over to Beach/Yacht club area. Just about every trip I have to stop by ESPN for a beer and their buffalo chicken sandwich. There have actually been a couple of times I've been in Orlando, but not Disney World and I've still managed to make a visit to the Boardwalk area. :thumbsup2

I'm sorry this getting so time consuming, but that's great that the doc is trying to do things the right way. I hope they get to the bottom of it.

Now flavored might not be bad, I had straight no flavor, it was like drinking everclear:crazy2:
:confused3 What were you expecting? :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Morning guys :wave2:

Big win for I.U. last night. Great defense. It will be great to watch them play Butler later this year at the Crossroads Classic. Andy will get his revenge as Purdue plays ND.
Have you seen Purdue play this year? I'm not confident about anything at this point. They'll either win by 20 or pee down their legs if it gets close. I'm just excited about their athleticism and the fact that the team is loaded with freshmen and sophomores. It will be a rocky season this year, but the next couple of seasons could be fun.

Well, I like where you're going with this, but maybe the 360 film should be replaced by Soarin. If you stop moving and let the stomach contents settle, that might make it too easy. :rolleyes1 :lmao:
