Guess you'll have to take my word for it.

You are a couple years younger than me and I am a dad to two dds (10 & 8). There's a few of us on here with dds only and we occasionally talk about how to scare of those boys who want to date our girls.
Nice! Mine just asked me what I keep laughing at in here. Somehow broccoli farts and penguins gets lost in the gender translation
Ah. Best used to be here, but no longer for years. Nothing is that cheap here, but we have the crappy discount brands too. One has a huge following "Labatt Max Ice" putrid stuff, high alcohol, so it's a quick buzz, I refuse to carry it even though I get constant requests for it. We also carry crap like Pabst Old English, Colt 45 and etc....
...
You got me at Belgium..which beer?
Thwt's what I thought. Did you drink a 12 pack of Smirnoff? Or did I misread your post?
Later Tim,
That reminded me. A month ago, my 10 year old daughter and her friend (also 10) were ice skating at the local rink on a Friday night. My wife and I were watching them along with the other girl's mom. Both girls are figure skaters so they know what they are doing out there. Anyway, I guess they caught the attention of some boys who were also skating.
My daughter came off the ice and told me that these 15 year old boys kept talking to her and her friend and were making comments. They thought they were silly and gross. I did not think it was so funny. I went and told the Skate Guard, who I happen to know, to make sure that these boys know that they are hitting on 10 year old girls, one of whom has a dad watching them. The Skate guard told them and also added a few other things I learned later like that I played hockey and could easily catch and kill any boy who skated near my daughter.![]()
Turkey is brining soaking up salt, sugar and herbs. Paul and Norm, just keep your hounds out of the kitchen because I don't want to eat chinese tomorrow.
Also I feel like a bum reading about all the dads prepping for tomorrow, I do not have to do a single thing other then making sure mine and DDs rooms are clean for guest to gander at
Have our bird sleeping in Alton Brown's brine as we speak. It has worked wonders the last three years.mm1971 said:
We brine ours as well. Soak for 14 hours. Started the brining traditional about three years ago using the recipe from Alton Brown on Food Network. Fill up on turkey, take a nap and then watch the Pats move one more game closer to the AFC East title.
Seriously..Have a great day tomorrow!
Not yet but UPS just dropped off a crate that says FRA-GIL-E on it. Have to find the crow bar.
That happens on a lot of threads. I asked about special ways to celebrate and got back a bunch of snarcky remarks like..."Being at Disney should be enough." People don't get it...I asked a question...just answer it or move on!I am on Ron's Commando thread and by DVC resort threads. Everynow and then I'll check out the DVC Mouscellaneous and restaurant threads, but it still gets nasty there sometimes as well.
Yeah...I was out a few weeks ago for a buddy's bachelor party...looked at the 20 something girls and how they were dressed and thought. Man, am I going to lose my mind having 2 girls. We just talked about Stella. I noticed your ages. You are a couple years younger than me and I am a dad to two dds (10 & 8). Good idea. Always ignore them. Mine is sleeping on the couch,
Escaped the in-laws. At my parents now. Kids and wife in bed. Drambuie poured. Life has improved.
Thanks. I installed a larger mailbox to get ready for you.
I never thought of getting a me tattoo. I could make it life size.
He was talking to me. Seriously, whenever you want to take me for that tattoo, I am there.
Nite!
Now that's really weird. Mine was a Major Award!![]()
Haven't had any 15 year olds, but my dd is the oldest girl on the block. Last year when she used to ride the bus in the AM, 3 boys in the neighborhood would walk and stand across the street from my house until she came outside and then they would all walk to to bus stop. Of course, my dd is just completely oblivious.

Don't open it! It's Norm. He didn't feel like driving. The trailer will be delivered later.![]()
