Spent the weekend in camping in Northern Virginia with my brother (crazydadguy) and some friends, then drove 30 some miles down Skyline Drive. What a great view. Will definitely have to take the family there when its not covered in snow!

I'd love to sign up! Glad I found this place, my wife, DD8 and DD10 are leaving for our FIRST ever trip to the world in December!! My job allows me to spend a lot of time reading and planning every detail of this trip. I'm guilty of reading this site while in my tree stand deer hunting! The whole family is in full Disney mode. Our kids think we are going in February and driving a motor home to Florida, they have NO idea we leave December 16th and staying until Christmas Eve. I would be proud to be a part of DIS Dads.

Nope, its a nice drive though!!

There are several hiking trails, but being pressed for time and it was freakin cold, we decided not to do them. That pix are straight from the overlooks along the road.
