Soccer today. Team has 1 game and dd is playing in a second as another team is short. I have three games to referee today. Temp is currently 70 degrees, oh wait, that's at WDW. It is currently 46 degrees here.
DD plays at noon today. We are 5-0 and have 3 games left, one per weekend for the next three weeks. Trying to go 8-0. Already beat one of the top teams and have one more really tough game. Hoping today goes well in the wet conditions.
Good luck with your game(s)!![]()
Saturday, another day to work, but at least I am employed and nobody else is around. When I get tired of this I get to clean the bathroom today.
Nashville averaged 16,691 last season had around 25+ sellouts and the rest were in the 16k range so I wouldn't put my home town team in the failed category with Phoenix![]()

I wanted to get off on a rant about the BS the Oilers owner was doing too, but just couldn't think straight.
It's ok, Nashville started slow and our team almost got sold and moved to Hamilton so I understand the thought that Nashville is a failed team, the lockout is and will seriously hurt Nashville's attendance once the lockout is over
What the oilers owner is doing is what many owners of other sports teams have done before, if they don't get what they want they move the team, it's not right but it's pretty common in sports today

It is good that Nashville etc are getting a solid base behind it. Minnesota has no problems now that the Stars had ( I hope). I hope Winnipeg stays true and keeps up the support. I would like to see some stability, deal with the Islanders and Coyotes get it setled.

Ahh, Saturday. Feet propped up watching Gameday. Ready for the noon kickoffs and the big one (for me) at 3:30. Can't beat college football.
It was rough watching Coyotes games preplayoffs the arena looked empty, I hope they can stay cuz it'll help with other smaller market teams, saw some tweets that made no sense that said after the lockout ends NHL will look to add expansion teams in Quebec and Toronto , 2 teams in Toronto would make no sense when there are other markets that could use one, I am against the Las Vegas, Kansas City and Seattle ideas but one will get a team through a relocation more then likely

Quebec will work nicely, round up Canada to 8 teams (although Edmonton threatens to leave) I don't really see the need for another Toronto team, I'd rather see other markets. Not sure about Seattle, Vegas NO, and KC already had a team before. (Go Scouts!)What about areas like Milwaukee etc, where hockey might be more natural? The market's probably not the NHL favorite, but what about Eastern Canada?
Just noticed the 2011 Christmas gift exchange thread, overall how did it do? If there's another I would def be in
I think it went pretty well....
Although I think we started a little late... Should start 2012 sooner in my opinion.

Thanks. Long cold day. Need to take dd's friend home. Won today 4-1.
Next season if you wanna come down for a football game, I'll have a ticket for you, all of this years are sold, cannot of course say the same for hockey![]()
