Sadly, we have no excess money. :headache: Second one this year. I use the office address for all non-critical mail so fortunately SWMBO wont have to know about it and be

‘Morning all…

Driving on the snow isn't a problem, unless you live anywhere south of Boston.

I won’t argue that one. We see snow only about once a year so we don’t spend any mont on the equipment to deal with it. Our solution it to wait about six hours and lest the heat deal with it. Now ice… that we get far more often and even the biggest 4x4 is as helpless as Bambi on a frozen pond when that stuff coats the roads.

Don't worry there are only enough of us to take over the world. This is the leader of our World Domination Movement!

World-Domination-Summit.jpg

A man who was defeated by Austin Powers…
That’s what you’re goin’ with?

Been a great week for me at the Chest Conference (get your mind put of the gutter Randall, Carl, etc!).

But there’s so much fun to be had down there…

I like the other pictures better.

Agreed…
By the way, was I supposed to recognize any of them?
Or is it just a case of: “Enjoy the view” (which I do).

Proud Disney dad here. Have 2 DD's 6 and 18mo and they are both very much into all things Disney. Heading down to BLT (our first trip as DVC members) in jan '13. Will be my oldest's second trip and my youngest's first. Really looking forward to it.

Welcome sir!
We’re glad to have you along.

:welcome:

Welcome! Have a great trip. You do know that all dads are required to complete trip reports right?

Yes… but only if you’re foolish enough to start one.

Hello?
Anybody out there?
Come on in, we don’t bite…

…much.

Sure, okay. Since I have seen so many trip reports in this thread so far. :)

There are a few.
I could recommend a couple if you’re interested. :rolleyes1

Nordberg? :rotfl2:

:lmao: :thumbsup2

The weather guys are saying TS Sandy could run smack-dab into the winter storm that's hitting the rest of the country, and that this collision would take place directly over Delaware. Yay. :headache:

Hopefully it will follow the current track and that mess will stay off the coast.

Good Morning Dads! Today will be a good day, record high temperatures, sunshine, and leftovers for lunch from the staff meeting I skipped yesterday.

Depending on the caliber of the leftovers…
That is a fine start.

Harvest 2012 is officially over!

It has been a year for the record books, but not in a good way. I hope this year is one that will just become a story passed on to future generations like 1934. Considering we broke records set that year for heat and lack of rainfall, I truly hope we never see a year like this again. It is over and behind us now, so we'll get ready for next year and do it all over again.

You make a good point about the ice, but knowing how to drive on it and taking your time and being careful makes it manageable. It's all the other idiots that don't that make it so dangerous.

I will say a 4x4 definitely does help on ice though. It doesn't make you invincible by an stretch of the imagination, and it doesn't help you slow down or stop any faster, but it is good to have 4 wheels putting power down to help keep you straight and keep traction under acceleration. :thumbsup2

Morning..

I saw that. October can be a little iffy sometimes.

And yet, the only trip with zero rain for me was October :confused3

I get to work the next 9 days straight:scared:, but my next day off we will be heading for WDW:dance3:

So worth it....

The weather guys are saying TS Sandy could run smack-dab into the winter storm that's hitting the rest of the country, and that this collision would take place directly over Delaware. Yay. :headache:

And they say nothing ever happens in Delaware...

I'd make some comment about how he'll take care of the attractive, blonde Canadians that are trying to take over, but that would be morbid and probably inappropriate. :rolleyes1

Too busy still looking for the real killers..

Good morning fellow dads, hope all is well, just a typical Thursday here getting closer to the weekend, will be doing some pumpkin carving and also take DD to a toy store and work on her Christmas / birthday list ( I know it's early for that)
But when Christmas and birthdays are that close together, I like to plan ahead and get as much on sale as possible because I refuse to do the birthday and Christmas together presents

Agreed. Oldest's birthday is 20 days after Christmas and I'll never lump them together. Keep both special.

Good Morning Dads! Today will be a good day, record high temperatures, sunshine, and leftovers for lunch from the staff meeting I skipped yesterday.

The rain cloud is lifting.

.

Just enjoy the view. Maybe Brian will add them as Canadian princesses.

Hate to hear that for you. Hopefully, we'll not see it again.

Good news. Have a great trip

The important question is will this effect the soccer tournament this weekend.

I'm all over the boat captain job as well. Now to convince my better half to move to Florida.:rolleyes1

If you convince her, then let me know how. I have a free house lined up at CJ's, but still can't convince her to move.

Thanks! So I heard something about a DisDads convention in January?

Check out the thread over on our subforum. It has a lot more info.

In order to make room so they can bring the regular donuts back they should just combine those into one Giant halloween breast donuts.

I am dreaming about them now. :goodvibes:goodvibes

Read an article where gigatons of methane are being released under the ocean around North America. Sounds like the Mayans may have been right after all.

And, it helps when one of those little match box cars bounces off the big 4x4 truck. Much safer for the passengers inside.

Morning guys. Thread is moving pretty quickly! Need to go back and study up on Canadian assistants!!! :lmao:

It looks like it is going to be worse in the NE. Hope it stays offshore.

I am with you on that. Was depressing to hear about the reports and how it affect your crops. Here is to a record year next year.

I hope this storm I've been hearing about this morning isn't too violent for anyone. It seems like there are a lot of Dads that could be affected by it. I hope everyone stays safe and keeps their power.

I really enjoyed opening this page. I think I may do that again. Jury duty at 1:30 PM. I hope I get picked for that $12.50 per day. I'm wearing my "I accept bribes" t-shirt in hopes that Gene Hackman picks me.

It's awkward to open it at work though. Looking forward to the next page where I hopefully won't have to be nervous and frantically scroll down past all the :hyper::hyper:

Maybe CJ and his diver friends need to cut down on the beans?

Yeah I've been doing the frantic scrolling here too.

Morning Dads.
