I'm sitting here now, with the other jurors, and all I can think is how depressingly sad the criminal justice system is. Of 12 men, only 3 of us didn't wear a t-shirt to court. And, this is our circuit court - big lawsuits & felonies. C'mon man.

Can someone direct me to an agenda for the DDC? I thought I'd find one on the other site but I couldn't locate it. I just want to see if I will be in the same place at the same time as any of the other guys besides at the race.

The weather guys are saying TS Sandy could run smack-dab into the winter storm that's hitting the rest of the country, and that this collision would take place directly over Delaware. Yay.

Delaware or further north is what I heard this morning. Let's hope it heads east and never shows up. They have already started warning the electric companies in MA that they better handle it better than last year when power was out for weeks in some areas.

Followed it pretty closely in case it turned toward us. Right now it is a 2 but expected to drop to a 1 tomorrow. It is still a ways South of us but it is so spread out, we are already getting heavy bands of rain and periods of high winds. Later tonight through Friday night they expect 30mph+ sustained winds up to 60 in gusts. Typical tropical storm conditions for us. Hopefully the electricity will stay on.

One forecast model predicts landfall around Delaware, the other around Maine. Plus you got that other storm coming in. Lets hope Sandy stays East. If not, I have to tell my kid that she might get a hurricane in NJ.

I hope they at least shut the music off. We were stuck for about 10 minutes last year and they turned the music off before everyone started climbing out of the boats!

I know this is serious business, but I couldn't help but chuckle when I read that. Who would have ever thought, you leave Miami to get hit by a hurricane in NJ.

Hopefully it will turn to the Atlantic and lose its steam.
