Well, The week started with the parrot dying in the arms of my DD9. At least she went happy! She lived 16 years and that is the average so I guess that was to be expected, especially after the egg incident last week.

Got a call and the wife hit something in the road this morning. Leaving work soon to go get a couple of new tires, cha-ching! At least it's Friday.

Soccer starts today for DD9!

Not really a good day, was it? Really sorry about the loss of the parrot, losing pets is a heartbreaker. It's sure the reason I don't want any more. Hopefully the $$ won't be too high.


But at least you can relax about Brian's swimming lessons.

Ya me neither. Funny enough some of the states I drove through I was started to wonder if I was speaking the same English as they were.

The best we ever encountered was this old guy working at the Manatee exhibit at Seaworld. It was as if Boomhauer from King of The Hill really existed.

This lady who is a customer asked me today how many more days till you go to Disney, I told her 58, she looked at me puzzled and said I swear the last time I saw you it was like 20 something, So I told her we just got back less then 2 weeks ago

So of course she said you just got back and your going back in 58 days, I said yes, she then wanted to know if I was looking to rent out the cargo part of the van since she would be interested in living back there since the van is always going someplace she would like to go, so just to rub it in a little I told her that we will be going to Williamsburg VA in 3 weeks, she shook her head and said she wished that her husband was willing to go places

I don't know whose idea it was to get the sling bag by LowePro for my DSLR but I got it and it worked out like a champ. Just got it tonight packed it all up and love it.

STUNNING! I really need to go take a class to learn how to use my camera. I also have a D5100 but have never been able to get anything nearly that spectacular (although my DD's and DW are my usual subjects and they are spectacular).

I recommend getting at least these two books. Understanding Exposure and Understanding Flash, both by Bryan Peterson. These both helped a lot! But classes also are where most of the hands on knowledge comes from! Excellent camera choice!

I was complaining about 3 day weekends, but only because I had to work otherwise I would have been in VA for the weekend, but I guess if I can make the crazy rate Holiday pay I might as well take it, I have to fund my madness somehow

Speaking of which it's almost Gift Auction session, I have to start refilling the family fun box for next year Park Hoppers or a Complete WDW vacation are high on my list of things to win
