Have to drop the kid off at school around then. She starts on the 23rd and it might be a hike to get there on the 25th. How long are you guys going to be down there? It might be worth a drive by to say hey.

If you come up early in the week - Both Ron (Commando) and I are there as well... :rolleyes1

There were motorized b00bs with a coconut bra that hung on the wall like the singing fish. Later, one referred to her Dr as a v-g--acologist.

I've watched the show since the beginning. It's the only other current scripted show I watch besides once upon a time and walking dead and breaking bad. Yep. 4 shows. That's it. Or Disney cartoons or shows with DD.

I've heard LeCellier will now be a sig dining spot for lunch also using 2 credits:scared: I have a ADR for Nov so I have to keep a eye on this , although I love LeCellier I would never use 2 credits for lunch, I'd rather pay out of pocket, and use the credits for higher value:thumbsup2

Evening gents.

Let me just say, wool in August is not all that comfortable (and it's supposed to be 95 on Saturday). This reunion is DW's side. If you couldn't tell they have a Scottish heritage. Several years ago the reunion committee decided they should kick up a notch and have a Scottish themed reunion. So now we do golf and highland games.

Used to wear the kilt for the whole day. Now I've resorted to wearing it for only the 9 holes of golf and the games. Someone in the family made all of these things. Worst thing about them is no pockets. One of these days I'm going to find a pair of shorts in that tartan and just wear those. Up until last year I had like a 4 year streak going as caber toss champion. Last year some of the boys miraculously turned in to men and the streak is over. Maybe I can get it back.

Have you thought about getting a sporran?

Any of you dads into cigars? I had dinner with a friend the other night and had one called Windy City Acid. It was pretty good. I also had a glass of port for the first time which may be something I'm going to have start sampling. The 2 things paired very well together.
I smoke a cigar from time to time. Mainly on the golf course.

Amen brother!

Good afternoon guys
Hi nemie. :wave2:

At one work tournament I missed the Assistant DM by a couple of feet. Twice. Still couldn;t get me transferred. :rotfl2:

Hit a car in a parking lot, thank god it was a junker.

JUST missed a moving car going down a road paralell to a fairway.

Hit a house beside a golf course, thank goodness I missed the plate glass window.

My partner at another work tourney NAILED a Canada Goose square in the head with a line drive over a pond. Killed it like that. It was eerie to see, every goose and duck got the hell out of the pond to the bank, and just stared at it, it just floated there. Somehow it was told I took the shot, but I cleared the pond dammit! :rotfl2:
Glad I ain't the only one to get a goose. Mine didn't die but the whole flock was agitated for about 5 minutes.

Will share a cigar and bourbon one day with you.

That we will. And since I owe you a beverage of choice, it will be on me.

Run her against Tim and Barry.

Since I am GM of Team Barry, I think it would be a conflict of interest to let a little girl demoralize Barry. Offered Tim to let her run in his place but he wouldn't meet the asking price of one semester at Seton Hall. She really wants that 20th Mickey medal even though they haven't shown it yet. So I think she will be running the full.

Welcome back, CJ!

Thanks Chris but it I'm not glad to be back. It was kind of funny to be down there and not go underwater.

Did run into a lot of Bits who were "on holiday." There was a cute 8-9 YO who in a very British accent telling me how they went to Disney World before coming to the Keys. Found out that Belle and Ariel were her favorite Princesses. And that the hotel was not as "posh" as the one at Disney.

If you come up early in the week - Both Ron (Commando) and I are there as well... :rolleyes1

I will be in South Orange, NJ until either the 23rd or 24th. Don't plan on setting land speed records coming back and have to stop in Savanna for a day to see SIL. Depending on timing, a meet up may be possible.

I too have killed a goose, but it was Canadian so I just moved on.
Hey Nemie- hangover finally done?

Morning Dave and all the other dads!

Yes! I'ts finally TGIF, and hopefully I can head home today before the traffic gets to be too bad. Then tomorrow jump right in to school shopping during the tax free weekend. Looks like no rest for me.

Hey guys, for those of you with iPhone's and iPad's, the "My Disney Experience" app is now available. I spent some time with it and it is pretty cool. The maps are much better then some other apps. You can make dining resi's right from the app as well :thumbsup2

Um I hope your not thinking of trying it in Aug when we play!!!
I hadn't, but now that you mention it....:scratchin

We fly back home on the afternoon of the 29th. It'd be cool if you swung by on your drive home, otherwise we'll see you in January.

Did they have a guitar that looked like this?

I don't thing the 2 credits for lunch starts until 2013 when the new dining plan takes affect.

Have a great vacation Steve!

He got a birdie! :thumbsup2

Evening Paul. Tomorrow I am signing up the Pirate Princess for either the Disney half or full marathon. She wants to decide tonight which race to try. Probably the full.

Starting college AND running a full marathon? :faint:

TGIF Gents!

It is the start of a long weekend here, so work today will be a relaxing day of paying attention to Olympic live streams.

Have a good one.

Morning guys. Trying to get some things wrapped up here before the weekend.

The weekend is going to be rainy and busy. Only another week-10 days before the female contingent returns to the holler and DS and I are going to be busy cleaning and disposing of things.

Morning Guys,
My parents are taking the kids for the weekend. Only downside is I work all weekend. :sad1:

Not till the 2013 plan kicks in, you're safe this year...

Glad I ain't the only one to get a goose. Mine didn't die but the whole flock was agitated for about 5 minutes.

Oh, this was dead, Still sort of upright, but head and neck limply laid in the water for 10-15 minutes without movement. Might have been blood, the water looked a little discoloured, but couldn;t tell.

The eerie thing was how all the ducks/geese in the pond reacted. They all got out and stood on the shore and stared at the dead goose. Weird. I recall the ducks quacked and gotback in, taunting it. :rotfl2: Ducks rock.
