Got off the phone with my buddy from the UK and we were thinking about our next dive vacation. It naturally turned to the Roatan trip we took earlier in the year. Decided to look through some pics from that trip and post a few.
Fun trip. Not Disney related but hope you enjoy the pics.
Awesome pics...
Is there a hidden Mickey in this one?
Rough hockey game last night. We won 8-2, but I got the heck knocked out of me. On one shift, I actually drew 6 minutes in penalties against the other team for slashing and cross-checking - all within the span of 30 seconds. The ref even commented that I got beaten up pretty good on that shift.
Of course, my wife and kids were in the stands because it was an unusually early game. Upon seeing the rough play (which was not normal because it is a no-checking league) I was gently reminded that we leave for Disney in 12 days and it would not be a good idea if I got hurt playing hockey.I have bruises all over my back and arms and my left elbow is swollen and black and blue.
We have 2 games before we leave. We are 10-5 and battling for first. I can't skip games, even for Disney.
Any Dads out there who go all "Boy in the Plastic Bubble" or "Running Scared" right before a Disney trip?
No. You can still do Disney in a wheelchair!Any Dads out there who go all "Boy in the Plastic Bubble" or "Running Scared" right before a Disney trip?
Wow...what had the other team all riled up? (Other then the fact they were getting blown out..heh heh) Seems rather nasty for a non-checking league.
No. You can still do Disney in a wheelchair!![]()
Really, you just have to do your thing. You play all the time, so it isn't like you're taking some extraordinary risk by getting out there.
But this is coming from the guy who "played basketball all the time" and ended up in a walking boot for my wedding. So that that for whatever it's worth.![]()
I too have killed a goose, but it was Canadian so I just moved on.
Hey Nemie- hangover finally done?

Red does mean danger. These can hurt if you touch them

I have to agree
I've had the warning from DW but it really hasn't made much of a difference.

That and they had a player who we kicked off our team last season because he was a jerk. During a game in the winter, he actually taunted another team's injured player after an accidental collision.![]()
He was politely told by a few guys on our team to "Shut the ---- up."
He didn't like that and some harsher words ensued. After the winter season, he was asked to find another team.
So he was being chippy and yapping all game last night which kind of set the tone for the rest of the game.
I kill goose all the time, but they are Grey and that's something completely different.
