Oh man, I remember doing work for promoting the Raptors when they first started while I worked at Sears, big set up at the Square One parking lot. Seems so long ago now.

Good day today, kids were a lot better behaved compared to yesterday, which is funny, we were cooped up with the storms raging most the afternoon. Kids got a kick out of watching Pee Wee's Big Adventure, and a marathon of episodes of Gravity Falls. Most of all, I got a load of cleaning-up done, so all good. Looks like lots of park/swim time comming up tomorrow.

Kids got a kick out of watching Pee Wee's Big Adventure, and a marathon of episodes of Gravity Falls. Most of all, I got a load of cleaning-up done, so all good. Looks like lots of park/swim time comming up tomorrow.

Same storms got us real good up north here and we don't have power. A branch knocked down a line on our street.

Nice night out, only problem is we are on a well for water and no power means no water. Because we are on the river I got a bucket of water and now we can use the washroom.
This ain't so bad....

Im sitting at a desk, have been since a few minutes after 5. Way to much to do, and Im pretty much sitting by myself, where its 10 deg warmer than the rest of the area, and I have the constant whine of servers about me. Hard to stay awake? Why yes, yes it is.

We got the same storm as well... then again, I am half way between you guys...

But man was that coming down! but only for about an hour... then the sun was shining, birds were chirping, and it was like it never happened.

Happy Hump Day! Made the right call yesterday and got some extra field work done on the chance we would get a shower and one rolled through at 0-too-early.

August marks the start of the 2013 strawberry season so today I get to play plumber and electrician getting a new misting system put together. Wonder if I will get union rate?

Definitely a very difficult decision, but it can be done. I have made some career changes and will be making another one soon. I will explain for those that are interested soon.

I changed careers two years ago at the age of 45. I wonder if I was having a mid-life crisis or was I just getting tired of the other job. Hmm, I think it was changes at the other job.

Unfortunately, my job is taking a turn in the next few weeks. Not losing it... just being "re-tooled". Man I hate that phrase. Going to have a new location, new boss, and new type of work... and I had no say in the matter. Seems the VP has a new vision of how our dept should be running. None of the worker bees believe it's a smart move, but who are we to have an opinion?

But I still have a job!

Do the debit cards have different designs than the credit cards? Our CC is Buzz and Woody!

Same card here. And yes... debit cards have different designs. Also, I have been harassed greatly by Chase to "upgrade" to their Preimier credit card which offers better reward incentives. They also have additional designs. But I'm not about to pay the $49 yearly fee for the "upgrade".

Late night watching the gymnastics. My kids were watching too much swimming. They tore the bedding off my bed and were jumping off the bed into the "pool" they made at the foot of the bed. At swimming lessons earlier this week DD was trying the back stroke when she was just supposed to be doing the back float. Fun times.

My oldest expressed interest in returning to swim team. She was slowest swimmer, but she has fun and it keeps her in shape.
