Alabama certainly qualifies as Deep South. Where about’s in Bama (if you don’t mind the inquiry)?
We have an overnight trip scheduled for the Jacksonville. AL area in mid October.

…Anyway, sorry for the lengthy post, but I just wanted to say that I do appreciate the words of support and kindness from all of you. I stress about my crops at home and I stress about everyone else's while I'm sitting at work, so it is always great to be able to pop in here for a nice diversion.

Hi guys. Rough day, it was one of those where I almost said screw it, packed up the family, and go to central casting in Disney and beg for a job.

Sorry to hear it. Hope things level off, but then again…
One of these days, one of us is actually going to chuck it all and move down to WDW.
The question worth betting on would be: Who breaks down and does it first?

Well, SWMBO's Mother and I had workds again this evening when I got home. She did not like how I was handling a discipline problem. I had to remind her that I was the parent and she was not. Dear Lord help me make it two more weeks when the kids go back to school and we dont need her services anymore until next summer!!

Hate to hear that sir. That kind of interference is hard to deal with.
A wish for extra patience has been sent.

Don't mean to 1 up you, but remember my mooching BIL? His dad (my FIL) booked his family a Disney trip this week with his credit card and gave him his truck and his credit card for gas and food. Last month, MIL took $16,000 from her bank account and paid off BIL's two vehicles as well as the extra fees to get them out of repo. This on top of all the past mooching. I can't wait for the next holiday when he tells everyone to vote republican because there are many lazy people mooching.

OK, just wow!

English has more descriptive words then any other language and yet our entire lexicon is failing me here.

Yeah, yeah - I know - but it's still fun to be a pill every so often!

It may be fun but there’s no sense in getting good at it.
(Several of the other fell’as are already too proficient as it is).

Nothing super exciting, just keeping busy, busy, busy. Working hard to continue to build the base and grow it. I've had several people return from trips and now are booking round 2. So that's cool, as well as others returning and referring. I've started speaking to groups about travel, and am seeing fruit from those events as well. I've taken out several paid advertisements that are now starting to pay off, and hopefully will continue to do so for several months. A couple of other paid ads will be hitting the streets in the next couple of months as well. It's fun to target the "right" demographic and watch how things play out.

It’s great to hear form you sir. We all know that you’re mightily busy (and on many fronts), but you are missed around here. Glad to hear that the new ventures are still progressing. We’re all behind you sir.

Any of you guys into Breaking Bad? Just started watching it on NetFlix... Worth the time?

DW loves it. I don’t invest much in long running cereal dramas, but I know the story line behind this one and it’s rather well written (and acted for that matter).

For all who responded to my work over the weekend - thanks for the comments It's always a good feeling to see what you hands are capable of accomplishing. And every time I do something like this I thank God that I do not have to do manual labor like that every day.

Amazing what these kids do in the Olympics. Missy Franklin, a 17 YO kid was in a semi-finals race and then 10 minutes later has to swim in a final. In the Olympics. And she wins. Oh, she goes to high school in Aurora, Co. and is a welcome relief to that community.

Now that I have recovered from my heart attack due to being called an Alabama fan... I need to clear the air... please note that George is an Auburn fan.

George, only one thing to say to you. GO GATORS.

A couple invited me to dinner at their house so I thought why not? Cheap trip. Not going to go underwater though, even though diving conditions are good right now.

Sitting here in the hotel room in Northern VA (again) trying to find a good reason not to go jogging. So far Im struggling but I'm sure that something will come to me.

Looks like another boring day for me in the lab working on a 100 slide or so power point. How will I ever contain my excitement.

Well, I failed. I couldnt think of a good reason, so I went out and jogged 2 miles. I know, I know. You guys are disappointed in me. I will try harder in the future.

Good Morning fellow Dads, My DM (I assume thats Disney Mom) and I have been talking to my DD4 about pin trading, so we ordered her this years Halloween Lanyard with a few pins and also got a lot of 25 pins so she could pick and choose which she wants to trade, we got them last night and went through them, theres a good mix of ones she wants to keep and trade, I also got a lanyard (Jack Skellington and some NBC pins) so all 25 are not on her lanyard but it cracks me up everytime she wore it last night cuz the lanyard is so big on her and all the pins she rivals Mr. T, shes excited which makes me happy
