ok, as a newb, how do you add tickers and pictures on post? im 31 been around computers most of my life and i still cant figure out how all the disdads have cool tickers and icons on post

You can click on someone else's ticker and it will take you to that website. Go to your signature on UserCP, and then you can paste the IMG code there.

The Pirate Princess Pirate registered for classes today. She still needs to get her AP and IB scores in, so no English, Math or French... yet. Right now she is taking Logic, Intro to Cultural Anthropology, Foundations in Oral Rhetoric, University Life and Journey into Transformation. I understand a couple of them but I paying how much for what? Foundations in Oral Rhetoric? Journey into Transformation? OK, whatever. Have fun, you better get A's.

We did a long weekend in Louisville two years ago. Louisville Slugger factory tour & museum, really nice water play area down by the river, Louisville Bats Baseball game and Lynn's Paradise Cafe is a must.

And managed to avoid me. Bravo. They now have Coco's Chocolate Cafe where the whole menu is chocolate.

I It might be a local name for the variation on funnel cakes where instead of a stream of batter, they fry it up by the large ladle full and the result looks more like an oversized beignet. Down here they call ‘em “Elephant Ears”

How many dis dads have the $80 monorail for their Xmas tree or just to have it?

If you do have one which color? And how many if you have more than one?

I have the monorail, Cinderella Castle, Aurora Castle, Space Mountain, Epcot, DHS Hat, and CR. I'll take a picture and add it. I will get the train this year and waiting for Tree of Life. I keep it up all year round.

The funny things is my DD and I have watched videos on ToT and she wants to go on it so bad (which she is above the height req.) and Ive warned her she might pee her pants, but she still wants to ride it, she may change her mind once she sees it in person (but im still bringing a change of clothes just in case.

Youngest dd rode Dinosaur Ride way too you, but really demanded to. She held on to me so tight and kept her head on top of my leg the whole time. Usually, I'm big on natural consequences, but probably should have waited one more year. She doesn't appeared scarred now from the experience, so I guess it all worked out. She didn't pee her pants though.

2) DD had her first karate class
3) my Disneyland book came from amazon
4) my Disney store package arrived
5) DD got to race live ducks and won twice (against other ducks, not her)
6) we both got to play with snakes and DD was a champ

8) I have a disdads meet on Saturday

You upload what images you want displayed to a file sharing site (I use Photobucket). Then you go to your “UserCP” (“control Panel”) for this site and select the option to “Edit Signature”. This is where you put the URL for the stored image surrounded by “[img ]” & “[/img ]” (I put extra spaces into those commands so that you could see them here).

There are a number of web sites that will let you build a Ticker (just search for “Disney Tickers”) and they will then supply you with the code to add to your “Sig”. You are limited in the number of images you can have including smilies to either 10 or 15 and I’d go with the lower number.


If you’d like a ridiculously extreme example…
Mine has text that links to other threads (for my TRs), and several images (and some of those link to other threads as well). Here’s the entire code

Glad you have it working. I liked the tickers, and while depressing, I could handle them. The worse was having to change it when I returned home. That 0 days then had to be changed to 180 or 365. So, I just stopped doing them.

Not sure what a TPS report is. But, when I am asked to write the occasional one, I submit it and I never hear anything again. It's working well for me.
