I wondered about that as well because it sounded more like an insult.

It might be a local name for the variation on funnel cakes where instead of a stream of batter, they fry it up by the large ladle full and the result looks more like an oversized beignet. Down here they call ‘em “Elephant Ears”

They used to have them at the Canada Pavillion in Epcot...

They are kinda like a oversized pancake deep fried, and covered in cinnamon sugar, or other yummy toppings.

The Pirate Princess Pirate registered for classes today. She still needs to get her AP and IB scores in, so no English, Math or French... yet. Right now she is taking Logic, Intro to Cultural Anthropology, Foundations in Oral Rhetoric, University Life and Journey into Transformation. I understand a couple of them but I paying how much for what? Foundations in Oral Rhetoric? Journey into Transformation? OK, whatever. Have fun, you better get A's.

Whatever happened to "Science", "History", and "Gym"?

I think you need a degree to understand what to register for...

Sorry it was a bad night. I haven't been asked for an ID in many years. Back in my day the age was 18 and wasn't even carded much then.

Talked it out with the boss today, things seem cool now, just the stress it caused sucked large. Didn't relax until 2:30 today or so.
