:lmao::rotfl2: I wouldn't want to steal Fed's thunder.

Speaking of Fed... where is that Mighty Morphin Power Ranger?

Rainy Friday morning. Good for those that still have some crops alive. On the road to a field day later. They will have enough ice cream for 400 and will be fortunate to get 100 people. Looks like I will have to work extra hard to see it doesn't go to waste.

Not going to go back and re-quote all the Seth Birthday wishes... but he appreciated it, and says Thank You.

To address a few of your comments...

Scott - yes he enjoyed his birthday without his parents... ;( My folks took him out to his favorite restaurant for dinner.
The reason we weren't with him for the rest of you - DW and I had tickets to see War Horse. Was all about timing... but we are doing other special things for him this weekend for his Birthday.

Norm - Didn't realize they weere the same age... Hmmm... Background, my name twokids0204 - represents
1) I have two kids
2) they were born in '02 and '04

Dave - (I think it was you who suggested he is following in my footsteps as controller of the universe) - Yes he is, he in fact may surpass me at an early age.

CJ - That is awesome, about the Message from Mickey - that one I haven't shared with him yet, I will when he gets home this afternoon. :thumbsup2

Morning all. :surfweb:

Morning, David!

Another great podcast recording last night!

Also spent about 3 hours sorting through more than 3000 photos from our last trip! Figured I needed to get the photo book together since we're already actively planning our next trip!

3000? :faint: Actually, that's probably close to our average as well. DW is the picture taker / scrapbooker. She's being doing a great job at one of those but because of her online business, she has fallen way behind on the other.

Yo ho ho and a bottle of.... water? Too early for rum today so water it is.

Been going over numbers this week for two trips to the World next year. I do NOT like how prices are creeping up faster and faster. But that's the economy we are in now. Have a feeling it will get much worse before it gets better. That reminds me... there was an article in our local paper about how our local farmers could benefit from the poor corn crops out West. Really, really sucks that so many crops are being lost out there!

In other news, I've been trying to set a time to test drive a 99 Cadillac Deville to see how I like it. Found the car on Craigslist last week. Not sure why I've been fixated on finding a luxury car to drive, but I'm hoping once I drive the tank around I'll quickly get rid of the "grandpa" feeling! :rotfl2:

Minivan!

Morning Dads.

So, my plan for David and I start a mutiny is not a good idea? And I already made a deal with Davey Jones to be Captain.
You made a deal with the ghost of one of the Monkees? That's going to ensure a voyage filled with hijinx.

a nice long trip would be great for kicking back and doing a lot of the little things or the overlooked things. On the other hand, spreading out short trips would allow you to see more of the seasonal things. So the question is, one long trip? or several short trips that allow you to do MNSSHP, MVMCP, F&W or SWW??? that's a tough call.
Getting to do all the shows would be cool. With the exception of Flower and Garden and different race weekends we haven't gotten to do any of the shows or parties.

Hey good morning for the Friday the 13th... Here is something for the donuts fans on here.

Never too early for rum. Have a good test drive Grandpa.

Send some north! I washed my truck last night and it is sitting in the parking lot with the windows down. I don't know what else I need to do to make it rain here. :confused3 :rotfl2:

Go do your laundry and hang it outside to dry. The big sheets. That's sur to bring the rain.

Mine were January 2002 and June 2004. What a coincidence.

Yeah I shot around 2000 in AK alone. I averaged 1000-1300 in each, MK, HS, and EPCOT. So yeah I know. Even after editing, deleting not so favorite ones, I still had 35GB of Photos and Videos. We had 6 days of parkhopping fun.

I made a deal with The other one to be Captain. Dave made the deal with that one to provide entertainment aboard the ship.

Thanks. Lots to do before we leave Sat. Laundry, packing, gotta get Amelia from the in-laws and got to endure a physical tomorrow, that should go over well, haven't seen the doc since last summer :guilty: and I am definetly not in the best of shapes since then.:sad2:

Using the whole fist doc? Good luck.

Hey, anything worth doing is also worth putting off.

And probably waiting for someone else to do it.

That is a tricky one. Last year, we did two trips to WDW and one to Panama City Beach, despite not budgeting for three trips. We've never had an opportunity to stay at WDW for 15 days.

If money wasn't a factor (:lmao:) then I would prefer flying to WDW for multiple trips throughout the year. Or, better yet, flying there for multiple longer trips throughout the year. Or, bestest yet, just living at Golden Oaks.

I always new that Michael Nesmith ran the show. He's also still alive which makes negotiating with him easier.

I don't think I've even need to live at golden oaks. Just somewhere close enough that evening trips are possible.

Don and Scott may remember the shark bite reports from MB the week before we got there or the boy that got stung by a Stingray while we were there. My sister directed me to this video yesterday YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcuYjDR2tSg&feature=share

This happened in Cherry Grove (North MB) a few days ago. I'll be staying just a few blocks from there in two weeks.
Wow that was nuts. I've fished from a jon boat right there.

Morning dads.

Going to spend a good chunk of the day watering the lawn. It might be longer - so many other people have the same idea that the water pressure is basically nonexistent. Took almost a minute to fill the coffee pot - and I don't drink that much coffee. Close, maybe, but not quite.

DW and I are still contemplating our trips next year. I want to drive down in the summer, taking a couple of days to do it, and then spend most of a week in the parks, then drive back (again, couple of days). Not sure if we can swing it though - finances, time, etc.

Actually, my original plan was to wrangle my way onto the Moms Club, for the extra trip, but that hasn't happened yet, so I keep having to make these backup plans, and pay my own way. :D
