Morning Folks...

Today is DS (Seth) birthday... 8 Years Old today... :cake:

Happy Birthday Seth!! I am assuming he is next in line to your throne Brian?

So its been crazy around the Trike house. It looks like this is gonna be a big Disney year for us. We have a trip booked in September (thanks Mark) to go down with my SIL and there youngens. My uncle has been a long time DVC member with a ton of points. He's decided to blow a lot of them this year on a couple Grand Villa's at SSR for a long weekend in Oct so we're gonna go down for that. We also booked a trip for Marathon/DDC in January. The plan is to exchange our September park passes for anual passes. Once we do that my goal is to convince DW to run the Princess Half in Feb and then Run Everest in May with DS.

I'm super excited about it, but for some reason normal people don't seem to get a grown man being excited about 6 Disney trips in a 12 month period.

Did I ever tell you you're my hero.......

DDC Convention there in June 2020. Want to start planning with me?

I'm in :thumbsup2

Am I the only guy who watched United States of Bacon?:confused3

I saw where that was going to be on, but I got interested in a PBS documentary on naval aviation called “Angle of Attack” and then got immediately drawn it a another one discussing the Apollo 17 mission. By the time I’d realized it, I’d missed all the bacon.

But I suspect that it will be on again.

No, DW not signed off yet. Clearly, not more money than Tom. But, those child support payments should take care of that. Most of you would contend I am clearly not in touch with reality. Thus, given these facts, it appears I have a 33% chance at Katie Holmes.

With odds like that you might as well take a shot at it then.

Eating, I mean reading this book now!!!

If you want to get a VC to find you'd really need to find ways to tie it to Mobile, Social and Big Data as that's where a lot of the funding is coming from.

I think a good pitch would be to say that you want to build and market a portable mobile hotspot that can be leveraged by its owner to capture and track users social data and text messages so that you can aggregate that data. You'd leverage this "big data" in a high performance analytics tool to create a segmented database for remarketing purposes. The target market would be for organizations that have a large number of repeat visitors. The ideal customers would likely be theme parks so you'd need to test it in great deal at WDW, DL and other them parks for an extended time.

2 things immediately came to mind:

1. You have way too much time on your hands.
2. It will never sell like that. You didn't use the world "cloud"

apparently dignity is a commodity that many folks don’t hold in much esteem.
::yes::
Just watch any reality show for evidence of this one...

As for Great Escape, I know what it is but haven’t watched, but if make it onto an episode, let us know.
It is good... not something that I feel like I have to watch but it's something I tend to DVR and have it on when I'm doing something else.

I was a fan of this one from the first episode as well, but it’s starting to show it’s age for me. I’m in the take it or leave it camp now. But that’s normal. I generally get to where I’ll give up on a series about two or three years before everyone else does. That’s happened more times then I can count.
I'll agree, I'm not sure what the word for it is, but it feels a little bit different the past couple of seasons. I don't see myself giving up on this one though. Even if the storylines get weak, there will still be cool cars and big explosions. :thumbsup2

Yes, but on Springer you only get 30 minutes of crazy. On Big Brother, you get to watch them go from "relatively normal" and slowly slide into "bat s*** crazy" over the course of 2 1/2 months.
::yes:: That's accurate.

My reaction to Wipeout is similar to Rob's. It was amusing at first, but got old. And the canned banter of the hosts drove me nuts.
The hosts are a bit annoying. I still laugh when someone gets turned into a pretzel while their face is completely rearranged.

And I don't feel the least bit bad about it. They knew what they were signing up for. :rotfl2:

I have heard good things about Burn Notice, and I like Bruce Campbell, but I've never seen it. I think I get to a point where I can only follow so many shows.
Even if you don't have the time to follow it, check out an episode sometime if you get a chance. See my remark above about cool cars and big explosions.:thumbsup2

Sadly, I missed that one.:confused3

Just had our quarterly meeting with the whole company home office. A big pep rally with a little bit of business thrown in. They always give some stuff away. I got $50 gift card to Home Depot! Woo-hoo!

Ever see any of those shows about all the horrible things that happen on cruise ships and all the crimes that go unprosecuted?

Well, I don't think I will become a pirate on the high seas, but after a four day bender, who knows.

The Pirate Princess is jumping up and down in the room screaming, "NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO over and over again. Excuse me, I have to go join her.
