From last week, DW's first ever attempt at a princess-cake. A lot cheaper then the $60 they wanted at the shop.

Audrey LOVED it, that's all that mattered.

Nice!

Hey guys,

Good day today. The plane ride was a bear. Got to the hotel at around 1 am Miami time. Nice place. Slept like the dead last night. Woke up to this view on my balcony this morning.

Tomorrow starts three days of diving.

Nice view. I bet it must be tough missing out on all that lovely rain in Florida now.

I took the twins to the Disney Store at Mall of America today. You'd think I would know better than to take two three year olds to that place by myself. We get inside the door and they launch themselves off the stroller. DS heads to the Cars display and DD goes into the castle shaped dressing room. My daughter has VERY curly red hair. So naturally everyone was infatuated with her hair. A CM took her to the whole Merida section of the store. Damn you'd think they used DD as the model. Meanwhile DS is loading the stroller with die cast Cars. After I unload that mess DD comes over with the ENTIRE Cinderella costume ensemble. After some fast talking I got them to the 2 for $20 T-shirt table and they each picked one shirt. :yay:

Great recovery and a lesson learned.

Brian, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! As controller of the universe don't you get to decide whether you have a birthday or not?

I just KNEW you'd say something like this somehow. :rotfl2: I said to DW about Nemo, sometimes I don't want to just walk onto a ride, I want it SOONER!
Clearly my smart a** comments have become my calling card. I kind of like that about me. :thumbsup2

Wow, you have an air tank that holds 3 days worth of air?

Have fun! Post Pictures!

Nice job on the diversion. Saved yourself at least 2 mortgage payments there.

This probably belongs in the prayer thread, but central Indiana has had about .005" of rain this month. This is a whole .3" less than the record low total for the month. Combined with 100 degree temps we could see this week, we could start seeing fields catch on fire from morons chucking cigarette butts out the window like we had 2 years ago. On top of that, corn will be getting ready to begin pollination around the end of this week and the 2 biggest things that interfere with that process are hot and dry weather. This could be a year for the history books around here, and I don't mean that in a good way.

I didn't sleep very well last night... :sad2:

Wow. That's really not good. Prayers are being sent for good soaking rain.

...!

Your seasonal drought outlook doesn't look good either.

Prayers that the forecast is wrong.

Here is hoping that you see some rain very soon. Anything in the forecast?

Believe me, I know.

Debby needs to move farther west then start coming up north. I hate to say it, because I don't want to wish bad weather on anyone else, but it is going to take a good tropical storm or hurricane making landfall in the Gulf to move this way and break the pattern.

It's a rough life you have!

Have a great trip.

Happy Birthday Nemesis!

Even I have to wish you a Happy one....although it does make me somewhat satisfied knowing you're stuck at work! pirate:

Well, there's a 30% chance of some scattered showers this weekend... but we've had that same forecast for the last 3 weekends and all we got was a slight mist around noon on Fathers Day. Not even enough to put a drop in the rain gauge.

Clearly my smart a** comments have become my calling card. I kind of like that about me. :thumbsup2

At work, when someone gives me an opening, several staff will turn to me and say "Don't say it!". I try to sit there and act innocent...then say whatever it is that needed saying :rotfl2:

Where the hell is the Tag Fairy !?
