Taking the girls to see this little non advertised indie movie called Brave tonight, anyone else heard of it?

Must be some indie film, hope the word-of-mouth is good.

We plan to see it next Friday, right after school/work, as a "passed the year" thing. It'll be Audrey's first time in the theater. We already picked them up Merida dolls from the Disney Store yesterday to surprise them with after the show.

Hopefully thell figure it out before some parents ruin it.

One of the man jerk leader has a 10 year old, so little hope. At this point, I'm hoping my youngest can make it thru while the program is intact. She lead the rec league in scoring last season (20 goals), but she doesn't want to practice.

A great way to close it out. Who would have guessed Miller would hit 7 threes? What are the haters saying now - LeBron only has one ring so he's not as good as Steve Kerr and Derek Fisher.

Random observation for the day (as I relaxed in front of the TV) - it's amazing how sometimes a single drink (in this case, a gin & tonic) can arrive in multiple glasses.

Never got into gin much, although I do like the sloe gin fizz. My single drinks stay in one glass; however, the liquor level appears to fall and rise in that same glass mysteriously. Must be some pirate magic.

I don't think the position comes with an assistant. But if it does, I'll recommend you.

Peanut Butter and Beverly! I'm really getting fed up with the ADR process and Disney dining. I tried making ADR's at my 180 day window and had some issues. I finally got all of them that I wanted except Le Cellier, which they weren't booking yet. I was told to watch the Disney blog for when those ADRs would open up. I saw last week, they posted that the EPCOT restaurants that offer CP packages would open up their ADR's on 6/24.

Last night I get a text from my mom telling me she heard that they are doing ADR's for Le Cellier now. I get online and look and there are some available for dinner and there was 1 2:05 lunch available the week we are there, but on a day that doesn't work. I'm . I played by their rules and planned everything over 180 days out and then got screwed by their system.

I play by the rules about 95% of the time, and get screwed by those that don’t about 65% of the time.

I'm not sure how old I was when I realized that was a complete lie and it all came crashing down. Do you lie to your kids and give them false hope? Or, do you tell them the truth that life is mostly about who you know and how pretty you are?

Yep, that’s a tough one.
Rule-3 in our house states: Life’s not fair (and mom & dad can’t fix that).

If were I smart, I’d have taught my young’en to be a selfish monster.
But I just couldn’t do it, so I taught him resilience instead (mostly by example).

@Andy - that stinks. Hopefully an ADR at Le Cellier opens up for you. If not, just wait outside, and make conversation with someone who looks lost. Get their name (and the time of their ADR), and then send them off to the movie while you go inside.

@Norm - Gin drinks are mainly a summer thing for me. (Not sure why, actually.) Anyway, yeah, pirate magic is surely responsible for that glass magically refilling itself.

That's a tough one. I tell them that they need to try hard, and work at things, and that it generally pays off in the end. But, on the other hand, I have let them know that life is not fair, and we are very fortunate to not have the short end of the stick in a lot of ways.
