I'm back now.

It Friday Night Date Night, you remember those don't you Ron? If not, get Rachel to remind you.

Date night has turned into pizza and movie night. But, the evening usually ends the same way as my single days. Tonite movie was Shrek - I can relate.

Oh yeah... almost forgot the most important detail. Cracker Barrel serves breakfast all day.

That can make the decision process a little more difficult sometimes though. At most restaurants, I know what I want to order before I ever sit down. Cracker Barrel's a little different though. Sometimes I feel like having some pancakes, sometimes chicken & dumplins, sometimes it's any number of other things.

I like biscuits n gravy and chicken fried chicken with gravy.

Going to have to quiz my wife if she will be able to get off those 2 days in Nov for a possible WDW week trip, I'm not counting on it but since she mentioned it I checked all the prices and can book everything on the drop of a dime, It is about 2 weeks from the 180 window, I would like to know so I can get the ADR times I want, but I'm flexible I can arrange something that will work if she can't find out till the date is closer

I don't look the other way if a trip is possible, I'm ready to go, plus I'm on vacation that week

Here's something some of you guys might be a expert on, on our last VA trip we were going to try either a Cracker Barrel or a Golden Corral, but by the time we left Kings Dominion and reached Williamsburg it was kinda late.

DW calls it Golden Trough and refuses to eat there.

Hello folks....it's been another rough day, things are just getting worse rather then better.

Not going to go into details...mentally and emotionally I am feeling drained. I'm now getting a lot of grief for god-knows-what. One more shift and I can escape to the inlaws for a couple of days rest, and trust me, rest I shall! Will have to hit up step FIL for some Crown Royal Black

I just came back from a Massage (Registered Massage Therapist - not one of those rub and tugs ). Have you ever had one - they do wonders to relax those muscles.

Never been. I thought of doing one at DW at one of the spas. Maybe one year. I want the girl to massage me. No George Costanza massages....

In 1996 - when it was just me ad DW (then DGF), we went on it - and she FREAKED out

On the drop she BIT me, and took a bit of skin off the shoulder.

And you married her. True love's first ... bite...

Not much hope of catching Norm but feeling relatively confident in a top 10 finish unless there is some crazy thread closing saga. I don't think I've ever been in the top 10. Who has a spreadsheet?

Yeah, Brian wins this and moves closer to passing me for #4 on all time list. Stopher, Dave, and Randall safely have locked up top 3. I am ahead of my nemesis for overall posts counts and gave won more threads than him. That's what really matters.

Made it back from Toronto today. It was a good trip, hopefully next time I'll make the Disdads BBQ!

Hey Guys...Thanks goodness it is the weekend. Last night Ethans team won their second game 17-7. WooHoo...last year they did not win a single game and this year they are on a roll so far!!

Got a call from the doc and they have managed to get him scheduled for his surgery on his ears next Friday, so hopefully by this time next week we will be over the hump.

Tomorrow morning is baseball pictures and game three at 10am. Then at 1 the scouts are having judging for an "all male cake bake" We did not do anything like that when I was in scouts so must be something new they have come up win the past 40 years LOL Here is a picture of our cake. I can't post it on facebook yet because I dont want my excuse me our competition to see what we have in the stables for them

Hey there guys...at last this week is OVER Another long night, I again had to stay late to finish things, and I was short-staffed because the boss didn;t think of replacing people calling in sick So wjen I glance at tomorrow's schedual, I notice his crew is short sweet revenge?

No, I went the high road and tried to fix things, got him another body. Then, just before we cloed at 10, Queen B*&@% hewrself calls in sick for tomorrow (yeah, right) and undos all my efforts, so Kharma wins in the end , but hey, I tried! Now off till noon Monday

Up again early in the AM for the 3 hour drive to Sarnia. Going to pack some good reading material to relax with, and I know a good nap is comming. Going to try to stimulate the US economy tomorrow too with some cross-border shopping. Will try to hop on now and then when I can sneak onto the in-laws computer. NOw to try and grab 5 hours sleep. Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

speeking of stimulating the us economy, i think im going to spend the tax refund check today, im going to swing through mcdonalds drive through and dump the seven, yes, i said seven %^%#$% dollars out of the $13000. plus we paid last year into lunch!!!! i was embarrassed to take it to the bank and cash it. i had the cashier laughing at it also.

Morning all. It is high 40s/ low 50s today for soccer. Where did the nice weather go? My back is feeling better. Despite the 8 hours of driving since Thursday night,not have not taken any pain pills. Still a little tight so I continue my stretches.

DW and MIL are going to clean her grandmother's house today. She is in her 80s and not the best housekeeper. Since she doesn't move as well anymore, the dog pees inside the house sometimes. So, you can imagine the task at hand. I told her I would help after soccer season, but they are going today. Now, guess how many other children or grandchildren are helping? That's right. 0. But, the important thing is that we get to completely change our holiday time to spend it with ungrateful trash. I told her they all take advantage of her generosity, but she continues to allow it. So frustrating

Morning folks....

A long weekend of running around and birthday parties for DD.

She is going to be 10 on Wednesday.
She will have some friends over tonight for a spa evening of facials and nails, etc...
Then "Make your own cupcake", and movie night. I think they are going to watch "We bought a Zoo", and have Pizza.
After the movie party ends, most of the girls go home, but 3 of them are sleeping over... which means likely another movie (probably Tangled).
Then pancake breakfast... ship the remaining kids out...

And then BBQ for lunch tomorrow for her second birhtday party for the uncles, aunts, and grandparents.

Hopefully I'll get some sleep Monday when I go back to work.

Well, Charter came through with flying colours!

i've got Internet that doesn't take 30 minutes to download a 2 minute YouTube Video. That's all I wanted.... And AT&T couldn't help me with that. Like I said, I feel badly for leaving AT&T, but, I didn't really have a choice.

As for today, I have to finish folding laundry. I started at 7:00 last night, and i still have to finish socks and put uniforms away. Should be a super-fun morning!
