It was a show, didn't think I'd be running it thoughTomorrow should be better I hope.
A very nice night tonight, we headed over to Jodi's cousin's place in the Downsview area of Toronto. First time I had been there since her uncle died a couple of years ago. We had an unofficial birthday party for both myself and Jo's cousin who is a whole day older then meso two birds with one stone. Dinner was good ol' fashioned fish & chips.
My birthday haul from DW and the girls was a load of books all on the Titanic. I've got some good quality reading ahead of me.
DW found this pic and grabbed it for me. I just hope I can find the other half somwhere...

people don't give books as gifts often enough!
Nice pics. Never seen those before. Do you know who's on the others??

at this, meant useless was in charge. So I laid out the cash assignments etc, sent out the orders that needed to go, and got to the 18 skids (!) of stock to go out, including a LOT of beer (that SOMEONE ordered in excess
). I got my trusted friend Sharon to help (she who had her face cut by broken glass last year) she is a harder worker then me. We plowed through the skids as best as we could (by myself 1/2 hour per skid, we did a couple 10 mins easily), but there were lots of delays too, scanner issues etc, and I had to take time to handle staff issues. And worse of all, in the morning, everyone decided to stay running cash, no help whatsoever, just stood around
. In the end though, we got 'er done, and Boss called to chevk out progress was elated we got things fixed. Needless to say, I won major points and made myself to look pretty damn good to boot. There are a few jealous folks now, I riled up.
