Finally a place where dads can be more excited about Disney than anyone else (Especially for Star Wars Weekends!!!!!!)

1 week into my quest to be 40 lbs lighter by our upcoming trip... i am down 2.5 lbs from 240 to 237.5..

After our experience at Pecos Bill's...I'm staying away from Burgers AND Toppings bars at the MK.

I just avoid Pecos Bill's. Yuk!

Andrew, haven't seen much of you here lately, did you get the job?

No, I haven't been on much. I have not heard what the results are from the background check other than the company said I do not have any aliases they could find, nor any type of criminal record. The Postmaster (or is it still Postmistress for a female??) said she wanted to hire me if I passed everything else. I have not heard back from the Post Office though. I did apply for two other positions that are more hours. Thanks for asking.

Just found out friends from England we met on our Baltic cruise in 2010 will be in Florida end of July. DW is trying to figure out how we can afford flights and arrange schedules, DD13 will be at a Celiac Camp in San Francisco July 25 to 28. Wish us luck getting there. They are not planning on any Park time, but that might change. Their eldest son was DD17th first serious BF and their younger spent a lot of time with DD13. If we swing it, this will mean no F&W in the fall, but we will still be doing Xmas week.

Question for the Assembly: There are rooms available at SSR, BWV, AKV, OKW, & VWL. Stay at SSR or OKW for convenience to outside (friends staying off property) or BWV or VWL for ambience? We have not been to OKW, BWV, or VWL except to walk/eat.

Question for the Assembly: There are rooms available at SSR, BWV, AKV, OKW, & VWL. Stay at SSR or OKW for convenience to outside (friends staying off property) or BWV or VWL for ambience? We have not been to OKW, BWV, or VWL except to walk/eat.

Own at SSR and purchased (pending ROFR) resale contract at BWV, and stayed at the others. As far as outside convenience, depending on where they are staying, the only one of those that is a little more inconvenient is VWL, which is to enter the main entrance and stay over in the right lane to get to VWL. I don't think the other entrances are nearly as difficult.

As for where to stay.

BWV - great area, night entertainment, and lots of meal options
VWL - awesome theming, beach, and boatride to MK or CR
SSR - great access to DTD, 2 feature pools
OKW - largest room sizes (really liked turtle creek (pond) area)

SSR was our first resort, but BLT and BWV have become our favorites. So, I would go with BWV from your choices.

Delta into MCO - $222

The Sanford flights were around $180 - $200.

Then a rental car woulda' end up costing me 'bout the same (maybe even a bit more).
