still awake...

currently scanning old pictures into the computer. I have a couple of bins of photos and negatives from my parents' house. It is definitely a process, and I often find myself sucked into just thumbing through and looking at the pics instead of scanning them.

I was just scanning old pics from Cypress Gardens. It's now Legoland, which I haven't been to. I was happy to see (via google) that they pay tribute to Cypress Gardens. I'll have to see if I can talk DW into going there sometime.

Good morning dads. Prayers to all those affected by the storms yesterday. 28 have been reported dead between IM, KY, and OH :grouphug:

‘Morning all…
The storms have made it down this way but it’s nothing like the mess that roared through the Ohio River region. I hope everyone got through the worst of it intact. Stay safe while this business sorts itself out.

It’s a competition day for us. We’re heading toward Spartanburg for what will be a long day. That’s about a 90ish minute drive in each direction form here (with the added bonus of heavy rain). The kids are getting an even earlier start, so DS will be heading out the door in just a few minuets here. Prelims are at noon for us, finals start in the early evening, so we’ll be 1am tomorrow or later before we’re back at home. I don’t have to move any gear this time around so I’ll get to watch from the stands (that will be very odd).

I’ll check on ya’ and holler back sometime tomorrow. Let us know how Steve’s son is doing and all the rest of you take care and stay safe.

Good luck Rob :thumbsup2

Left the snow on my driveway with the hope that warmer weather and rain will wash it out tomorrow... If it doesn't, I have a long Sunday ahead of me...

:thumbsup2 I did the same thing. Looking outside right now I may need to get out there and help mother nature along.

Getting ready for the next leap year thread? I should scan in my old pictures, but I have a slow scanner, and it would take a while. Maybe a future project.

I just got two free tickets on Southwest so I think I am going to fly down with my DS5 for MNSSHP in October for a short father and son trip. DS5 is really into the villains right now and watches the Boo to You parade on Youtube all the time.

Any ideas on what is the best way to plan the trip? We'll probably just do two nights since he'll just be starting kindergarten. Southwest has flights available right now, but the dates for MNSSHP are not out yet. Are there certain nights (like always on Tue or Wed) that they usually have it?

My banks website is down... so if anyone wouldn't mind just paying my bills for me, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! :thumbsup2

I'll get right on that for ya....you just have to send me some of that Canadian money down here so I can do it! :thumbsup2
