DIS Dads DDC XVII - Leap year edition

I've fallen a bit behind and see that a lot of prayers are needed. Rest assured, everyone who needs it will be getting some.

But on another note....

I grew up around livestock. I'd spend a weeks every summer at county fairs, state fairs, festivals, carnivals, etc. After a little while, you do notice that every animal's droppings have a unique smell. Horse poop smells different than cow poop which smells different than pig poop. So, can someone please tell me how it is that I can walk into the bathroom at work, see one stall occupied, and immediately be hit by an overpowering stank of horse poo? What did that guy have to eat? Surely, this can not make the porcelain god very happy....

Let us know when you want to go to Hubers and we will be there. We are pretty flexible since our girls are not in sports yet.

We will have soccer until May 20. Dance recital first weekend in June. Softball in June. We may be able to go Memorial weekend of it may be into July.

Tornado just hit. 76 mph winds. 2 rounds of hail. No power. 10 minutes before next storm hits.

Looks like we've been downgraded back to Tstorm warning for 30 min. Going to go outside and check the house. Still no power and haven't heard where tornado hit. FB friends report a porch ripped off house and another one a barn down.

Been radar watching all day. The worst of it seems to be going to the south and north of us. We've had some heavy downpours off and on at times, but really not much else here.

Some of you from Facebook already know, but for those that don't....Steve (GoHerd) had to take his son to the ER last night for breathing issues. They're still there and are administering breathing treatments.

Most of it is healthy for me, because I won't touch most of it! FIL loves the place but it may be the lowest spot on my list of choices.

Thanks for the prayers. We have the all clear now. It really was a fast moving storm. I walked around the house and no damage. The cat has resurfaced from hiding, which is even a better predictor than the weather people. We still don't have any electricity. Prayers for all those in the continued lines of storms.

Thank you for all of the prayers said for Ethan today. He is slowly starting to improve. They have stretched his breathing treatments from 2 hours to three hours...he has to be at at least 4 hours before he can go home. By the end of the third hour he is struggling to breathe again. Please continue to pray for him!

Shari is with him tonight at the hospital. I am with Lauren tonight at home. The storms are headed here in the next few minutes. I have never seen the skies like this before and tornado warnings are being called every few minutes. Pray for us. I am finding Lauren and myself someplace safe to go within this house. Checking out right now...hopefully will be back on soon!~!
