The wind sure has picked up here this afternoon. The trees are just swaying and swaying.

I'm sure there are a few drunks here... I haven't seen any hillbillies lately.

I could be mistaken here, but I thought all the hillbillies lived south of the mason-dixon line. I mean, I know that some have moved on when they found bubbling crude in their yards and all, and a few others can be found on in unusual places, but isn't that where they originate?

DC? Is that a business trip? When will you be in town?
Give a holler when you get to town if you want to try to meet up. It sounds like you might be pretty busy, so no worries if you don't have the time.
It is kind of a business trip, not much leisure at all. This past fall, I was elected president of our county Farm Bureau. They do a trip every year for all the newly elected county presidents to go to DC to see the capitol and visit with their respective legislators and their staffs. Not much time for tourist stuff, but it should be very interesting, and I'm really looking forward to it. We fly in the afternoon of 3/6 and fly out on 3/8. Our itenterary has 2 hours of "free time" in it and it is the last 2 hours before we leave the hotel to head back to the airport.

Fortunately, I got to spend some time in DC a few years ago when I worked for the USDA, so I won't be disappointed to miss out on seeing the sites.

God hates Nascar.
Apparently so. :lmao:

He probably figures having Stock Car still in the name is a violation of the 'Thou Shalt not bear false witness' clause.

In 3 or 4 years it will be manditory that they are hybrids, have functioning turn signals, and all tires must be inflated to the manufacturers recommended level.

But they still won't let them race in the rain. :sad2:

You mean I CAN'T call up Chevrolet and order a new 2012 Monte Carlo with a 400 cubic inch carbureted V8 engine with a restrictor plate?:confused3

Wow, when was the last time you watched a NASCAR race? It's been a while since they've raced those dinosaurs. :rolleyes1

So many things wrong with just that line, that I don't even know where to begin.:sad2:

It's been a while. I kind of lost interest back in high school when Dick Trickle stopped racing.

Hehehehehehe... I said Dick Trickle.

What do they race now?

So my DW was giving me some grief about the amount of pins that we purchased on the trip. Each kid had a pin necklace with a starter set of 7 pins (so $30 each) and then I bought another starter set to spread around between the 3 and let them each buy a couple of special pins. I also bought some pins for myself.

I (of course) dismissed her concerns, but when I got to work today and started counting my pin collection, I'm starting to see that she has a point. At current count, I have 117 Disney pins on my board at work.

Hello, my name is Chris, and I have a Disney pin collecting problem...

Haven't checked in a few days. Won't try to catch up. Been pretty busy but that is a long story.

In case you didn't know, Barry and Tim are having a food fight in the Dis Dads Convention Cafeteria. Quite entertaining.

You know... I've been to Wisconsin more than once. And those things will appeal to certain people.

Oh, so I'm certain people now, am I? :rotfl:

Hey, when you're driving back from Milwaukee to Chicago, and someone presents you with a castle full of cheese, it can be very tempting to stop for lunch.
