Plenty of rednecks in CT. Drop by sometime and Tim and I will show you around!

Congrats, Scott! I LOVE BLT!

Oh, and Bay Lake Tower, too.

Can I help? I can show lovely downtown Meriden!

By the way... 4 days for me.

So my DW was giving me some grief about the amount of pins that we purchased on the trip. Each kid had a pin necklace with a starter set of 7 pins (so $30 each) and then I bought another starter set to spread around between the 3 and let them each buy a couple of special pins. I also bought some pins for myself.

I (of course) dismissed her concerns, but when I got to work today and started counting my pin collection, I'm starting to see that she has a point. At current count, I have 117 Disney pins on my board at work.

Hello, my name is Chris, and I have a Disney pin collecting problem...

Chris, I will be glad to sponsor you if you need help. Gave up that habit a couple of years ago. Never counted them all but whenever we would stop at a pin kiosk, I would walk away $50-60 lighter in my wallet.

Saw on FB the cast was off. She is got to feel great right now. What are you doing to celebrate?

In case you didn't know, Barry and Tim are having a food fight in the Dis Dads Convention Cafeteria. Quite entertaining.
In case anyone was wondering, Beverly has been outlawed in Food Fights by the Geneva Convention.

Oh, so I'm certain people now, am I? :rotfl:

Hey, when you're driving back from Milwaukee to Chicago, and someone presents you with a castle full of cheese, it can be very tempting to stop for lunch.
Have you seen the new one? The Department of Transportation is redoing a big stretch of I-94 and a lot of the interchanges along there, so they bought and razed the old building. The company (Mars Cheese Castle) built a new building in the past year or so just behind the old one - and really played up the "Castle" part:

It's been a while. I kind of lost interest back in high school when Dick Trickle stopped racing.

Hehehehehehe... I said Dick Trickle.

What do they race now?

Dick Trickle was awesome, but only about half the racer his son Cole was.

Now, about your earlier post.
  • Chevy is an Impala
  • I believe the engine size is 358 cubic inches
  • They have upgraded to fuel injection
  • If I buy a race car, I want it without a restrictor plate

Hi Chris. I fail to see a problem.:confused3 :lmao:

Rehab is for quitters.

My kids have a similar board in their playroom in the basement. Luckily, I haven't had to invest too much $$, since their Grandpa feeds this habit. :thumbsup2

Hmm. DW and I are going to Disney! The kids...they're staying in CT...

What are your park plans? Maybe I can meet up with you on Sunday or Monday?

Excellent! I've already informed my kids that when they leave for college, the pins belong to dad.

It is kind of a business trip, not much leisure at all. This past fall, I was elected president of our county Farm Bureau. They do a trip every year for all the newly elected county presidents to go to DC to see the capitol and visit with their respective legislators and their staffs. Not much time for tourist stuff, but it should be very interesting, and I'm really looking forward to it. We fly in the afternoon of 3/6 and fly out on 3/8. Our itenterary has 2 hours of "free time" in it and it is the last 2 hours before we leave the hotel to head back to the airport.

Sounds like not enough time for me to figure out a way to get down to see you. Maybe next time.

Wow, when was the last time you watched a NASCAR race? It's been a while since they've raced those dinosaurs. :rolleyes1

So many things wrong with just that line, that I don't even know where to begin.:sad2:

I watched Cars and Cars 2. Does that count? :confused3

:rotfl2: I always loved how Dan Patrick and Keith Olbermann faithfully updated his place in the standings every week.

So...what's the problem? I need a wall like that at my office.

I am quite jealous of your board :thumbsup2

Hello, my name is Chris, and I have a Disney pin collecting problem...

And, that is a good thing. You gave me a good idea what to di with my pins. They are in my hats, but it looks like I can put a bulletin in my bonus/ Disney room in and fill it up. Thanks.

I also told the DW and dds I started pin collecting for them. They know it's my collection.

Oh, so I'm certain people now, am I? :rotfl:

Hey, when you're driving back from Milwaukee to Chicago, and someone presents you with a castle full of cheese, it can be very tempting to stop for lunch.

I never named names.

Those are your words... not mine. :lmao:

+1 :thumbsup2

Gave up TV 2 or 3 years ago so unless we are traveling somewhere I have no idea what is on.

Trying to give up caffeine and the fear of another kidney stone is a great motivator for that.

Yeah, I wanted it to count. I thought of giving up coffee, but then I remembered that murdering annoyinh people when I am caffeine deficent is a sin :lmao:

DD(7) suggested that I give up coffee for lent as well, DW and DD(8) convinced her otherwise. (my avatar is accurate prior to that second cup in the morning) :lmao:
