‘Morning all…

Wuz-up?

This was a little disturbing to see that there are stats on the DisDads.

http://boardreader.com/fp/The_DIS_Discussion_Forums_12596/DIS_Dads_53340895.html

Wooooooow!
That is scary. Everything anyone does any more is being watch somewhere, but the novels and urban legends have it wrong… it’s not the Gov doin’ the watchin’, it business. I do take comfort in my belief that even though those stats are being tracked…

I suspect that no one but us really cares what we’re up to. :lmao:

Well, if you notice the countdown ticker in my sig, you'll see that we are now inside 180 days. And I havn't made a single ADR. Mostly because up until I fixed it this morning, I was under the impression that I had 3 more days - I put the wrong date in when I made that countdown. Time to get cracking...

Good Morning Everybody!

Randy - great Weinermobile pics! Cool bit of trivia for everyone - Oscar Mayer's corporate headquarters is in Madison, Wisconsin. So every Weinermobile out there has Wisconsin license plates!:woohoo:
In case anyone was wondering, they are:YUMMY, OUR DOG, IWSHIWR, OH I WISH, WEENR, WNRMOBL, BOLOGNA, RELSHME, LIL LINK, BIG BUN, WNR MBLE.

(And we have some pretty cheap real estate if anyone wants to relocate.)

Wisconsin, Weiner Capitol of America!

Tutter: love the pictures! I'm glad your son got to experience Wienermoblie Awesomeness. :thumbsup2

For some reason, I'm predicting O'hana will be in the list. :surfweb:

Even Better! FREE O'hana will be on the list! After hearing us rave about it, the Bride and Groom to be ate there in January, and now want their rehearsal dinner there!:woohoo: She's going to invite everyone that's coming down for the wedding - probably around 40 people. At $32.99 each...well, you do the math. :scared1:

Morning guys,

Working on a possible Roatan TR. May take a bit longer than my Disney ones but if it happens I will post over here. Good possibility that I start it and may not finish but we shall see.

Didn't know that. Very cool. A good friend of mine works for Kraft foods. He actually drove the Wienermobile for a few miles. Years ago he was in New Orleans and I went to visit him during Mardi Gras. He greeted me at the airport with a beer and was blowing a Wienermobile whistle. He then took me to this bar where the floor had numbered squares. You buy a number and they throw a chicken on the floor and the number where it leaves a bowel movement (trying to be Disney friendly) is the winner. Great time Mardi Gras. I think. At least in the pictures it looked like I was having a great time. Don't remember much. Oh and Happy Ash Wednesday. The Pirate Princess is giving up soda and junk food for Lent. Guess that means more for me.

Barry lets think about your offer to move to Racine. House paid for. Current temp in the mid 70's high today expected to be 80. Forty minutes from the Keys and four hours from WDW. As enticing as it is, I think I will stay put.

Slacker. Need to get to work. Hope you get what you want.

What a nice bride to want her rehearsal dinner at O'hana. :cool1:

You live a charmed life my friend. Glad I am not the father of the bride or whoever is getting stuck with the bill.

I hate to end the night with Wienermobile excitement, but my staycation has come to an end. Goodnight and back to work tomorrow.
all the magical staycations must come to an end Good luck back at work tommorow :wizard:

Good evening, all!

Long day today. Worked 9-5 for an old client who booked me for this week since DW is off from her job all week. Then I worked my night job, and the next 3 days I have to be in to the day job at 7am, getting out at 3 with a few hours to kill before the night gig. Doing what needs to be done to pay the bills.

No update on the paycheck issue. Response I got initially was, "ok. we'll look into it."

When prioritizing which bills to pay, we had been pushing all the medical bills to the side. Well, that came back to haunt us over the weekend when we got a summons from the lawyer for the plastic surgeon who stitched up DD's forehead after her head-first-run-in-with-the-stairs episode. In my life, I've never had a doctor come after me so hard and so fast for payment. Now we've got to pay the bill, AND cover his attorney's fees, which adds another thousand dollars onto it. (apparently I signed something to that effect while we were standing over DD on the table in the ER.) I called them today and made arrangements to pay it in installments. Not sure why we didn't just do that in the first place. :confused3

Lastly is the update on my youngest brother who was staying as a houseguest last week. Over the weekend, I relocated him to one of our other brothers' apartment back in NJ. The hope is that he'll stay there until he gets a job and gets back on his feet. However, he is already starting to waiver on all his talk about cutting ties with the people who he'd been living with (the ones who left him sleeping outside their house in a car with nothing to eat for four days). The rest of the family is treating this like an intervention. They can't keep him locked up though, so eventually there will come a point where he'll have money and means to leave if he wants, and I guess we'll know then what he really wants. If he does go, I think most of the family will write him off.

gotta get some sleep. goodnight all!
Good luck with everything I know the feeling about trying to make ends meet with wife out of work for 7+ months . I work from 3-11 pm my job then when im needed i go right to a cab job and drive 1130-6 am good luck with the bills the only bill we have bad is called FIL that is worst then any collection agancy !! hope all works out and try to have a nice week

Mornin Guys....

Had to play taps this morning for my TV. My 42" Hitachi Plasma (6 years old) had been giving me fits about not wanting to turn on. I think it's finally done.

:sad2:

But - what does that mean???

New TV for me!!! :cool1:
I have had this problem twice once when i bought my TV and now after warrenty or should i say 6th ave went out of business .
if you have a tv repair place come in and give a free estamate you might be surprise on how much it might cost to go this route .
My problem same thing as you was a fan motor and only cost 200.00 to fix and i have a 56" samsung that i love to death that i put the paddles on it and brought it back to life :cool1: compeared to what i could buy new half the size for 200.00 . good luck

I planned on investigating what the issue is for re-purposing this TV for my Bedroom. I too thought it might be a fan and realized that the backside of this thing was caked with dust. So about a week ago I cleaned it off real good to improve air flow. And obviously it still crashed on me.

We'll see - I think I'm still gonna go after that new TV. :thumbsup2

Not including drinks...

Wait a sec... you didn't ask me to do the math. :rolleyes2

I'd love to read it!

A lot of the local church festivals do something similar up here, except it's outside and they use a cow. Parade organizers will also set up a grid and sell squares to see where any of the horses in the parade will "stop to rest"

Those are all fine and good, but go re-read what I just typed above this. Now what do you think?:confused3

It's not official yet, but she's trying to get it.

You live a charmed life my friend. Glad I am not the father of the bride or whoever is getting stuck with the bill.
All I know is that I'm not getting it. They can sort the rest out. :thumbsup2

:worship::worship: If it's free it's for...you!

I thought it was... 'If they book it, he will go.'

Either quote works just fine in this situation.

We've done the same thing. Cow Chip Bingo!

O'hana means family. That sounds fitting.

CJ, good point. I'm still trying to convince my 3 DDs that its romantic to elope to Vegas.

I thought it was... 'If they book it, he will go.'

Now if we're talking O'hana's dinner, it has got to be "Go the distance" or in reference to FreezinRafiki's last TR, apparently "If you build it the shrimp will come"
