Saturday Night Special ownage.

If it was possible to eat too much sushi, I might have just done that a bit ago.

And I might have just compounded the error with a dessert of Graeter's Chocolate Chocolate Chip ice cream.

Of course those are both "mistakes" I'd happily make again.

A great combo. What type of sushi? Spider roll?

Going to bed early tonight. Good night.

Night.

All I know is when the Doc says I can't do sugar, salt or booze the games over for me:eek:

Just told the wife I was driving to ky to install kegerator. She laughed and said good luck with that. She may have mumbled something unpleasant on the way out the room also.:rotfl2:

Well, if you need to bunk here, that's cool. She'll forgive you eventually.

Been quiet tonite. Watching GIJoe again. Scarlett or Baroness. Choices?

Baroness wears the great low cut tops. But, those nano things inside her head may not be good. Or, if I controlled the programming .....

Wow... 11 pages since I left work?!?! Seems like I only get to pop in here to see how far behind I am anymore. By the time I'd try to catch up you guys would be starting another thread.:lmao::rotfl2:

Late to the party again...

OK gentlemen, I need a little help here.

You see, DW and the kids are on their way to Iowa to visit the in-laws. After being out sick all last week, I didn't have spare leave sitting around to join them for this trip. So I have a Holiday Weekend Bachelor Weekend, starting this evening. :woohoo:

Now, I don't want to waste a ton of money eating out all weekend. But on the other hand, this weekend offers an opportunity for me to enjoy some of the foods that the rest of my family doesn't like/won't eat; watch whatever I want on TV (as loud as I want); etc.

So, here's a rough plan - I'm open to suggestions:

Tonight, either sushi or 5 Guys for dinner. I would go to my favorite coffee house for jazz after, but I just saw that they have a flamenco guitarist and dancers tonight. Just not the mood I'm looking for. Probably come home, catch up on some TV and/or watch a movie.

Tomorrow - sleep in, work on my disdads.com project. Do a few things around the house. Maybe pick up some wings at Costco to heat up for dinner while watching the KU basketball game. Drink some beer.

Sunday - sleep in again, work on the disdads.com project. Thai buffet for either lunch or dinner. Watch a movie or three. Finish leftover wings.

Monday - Sleep in. Clean up any messes I've left behind. Maybe go out for breakfast for some biscuits and gravy. Wait for the family to get home.

Comments?

Well, I'm jealous....that sounds great!

Tomorrow morning I'm heading to the girls high school basketball regionals hosted by the school dw coaches cheerleading for. Thankfully, not only will they be hosting, the Lady Spartans will be playing in the regionals after taking care of business at sectionals last week. 2 wins tomorrow and they're in the final four. I love high school playoff basketball in Indiana... Even the girls games are well played and intense this time of year.

Brent, just curious if I went to your house right now how much snow do you have on the ground:confused3

Just wait til the baby comes, then when pulling night duty, you can check. ;)

Poor Randall

He's not here, so I'm :car: ahead of him tonight.

I know... big surprise.

So tonight DS16 and I watched the first Sherlock Holmes movie. He saw it in the theatre, I didn't. It wasn't bad, but he says the second one was better. Don't know, but now I want to watch it.

So I'm torn.

I'm planning on going south for a week, but can't decide which week I want to go. I'll probably just add it on to the time I need to be in Ft. Lauderdale for a convention... but it's tempting to go in March, or April or May. I'd love to say I could do all 3, but I can't. Ahhh the choices. I can get in to a place any of the dates I'm looking at, but I need to make a decision. Frustrated right now. WIth my DW's potential CA trip still up in the air, my guess is that March will be out of the question, so I suppose it's just between April & May. Ugh. I hate not having things nailed down.

I'm coaching 3rd & 4th grade girls and refereeing 5th & 6th grade girls in basketball and those games are intense. It's what you expect in KY basketball. I don't have the players to run the offense I want, but in addition to the fundamentals of dribbling, shooting, and rebounding, i have installed some great defense. We held down the highest scoring team held to half their average points last week.
