My wife wants to go camping this year:rotfl2: I'm not a good camper, I like finding animals at night, last time I went camping was over 20years ago, 3 of us were chasing a fox around for half the night:lmao:

I told her if we go I'm going to give a Bigfoot holler around 2am, to make sure there are none around, and to scare the heck out of everyone in the area:rotfl:

You know that there are really reasonable campgrounds at Fort Wilderness at Walt Disney World, right. :cool1:

Is your ticker right?

You are going in 3 days and back again 2 weeks later?

That's right! Coincidently, there's an asthma conference in Orlando the week after we get back. DW & I are going solo!:cool1:

:rotfl2::rotfl2: I never knew you could stump a Canadian that easily! Thanks for the answer, the suspense was killin me! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Foxes are not a problem. DW & I were camping in Red Meadows (Mammoth Mountain area in CA) when nature called in the middle of the night, the rest rooms were about quarter mile away. Fortunately there was a full moon. As I stepped out of the campsite (we were tent camping) I heard something halfway down the road/path. It was a bear, looking like it was almost 5' tall. I do not think I moved for a half an hour, well past the time it had disappeared from view. Nature decided it wasn't calling that loudly.

We had known there were bears around, all food was in coolers in side vehicles but to see (and smell) one that close was a shock.

Dig the new bus.

Squirrel!!

:lmao:

When DW was pregnant I took her to Golden Coral (buffet), my comment to her was "Sorry it isn't steak and lobster........but I'm pretty sure I'm not getting lucky tonight."

Fine dining. The Golden Trough.

I don't know how I would fare with bear, it depends who goes camping with us:confused3, I don't like the idea of Puma or wolf:eek:

I was tracking a skunk once (about 15 ft distance) for a while until I got bored, my wife thought I was going to get sprayed:lmao: When we stay off site at WDW they often have nature trails, I like looking for Pygmy Rattlers but haven't found one yet:rolleyes1

And Can't Focus on Work with 3 Days until Disney Ownage!

Glad I'm not one of your patients. Ouch!

Well...2 kids...2 different appointments...3 surgical procedures for the future.

DS12 finally got his 2nd set of Braces...

DS17 has cronic sinus infections...

Yikes. Oldset dd has had expander and maybe braces in future. Both have had tonsils removed and tubes younger at the ENT. Good luck.

So my DW sees her gift sitting on the counter this morning and says "What did you do?? We don't exchange on Valentine's Day!!"

Sweet - Didn't need to give a gift V-day ownage!!

You have to get them a present. VD law.

Well last month I got her fixed and declawed so I'm sure whatever I do that doesn't involve the removal of body parts will be appreciated.

Hopefully, you're talking about the cat. Our cat grew her claws back after being declawed. I call her Wolverine.

OK guys..after reading the DIS site for a couple of years, I have to admit that I hadn't stumbled on the Disdads club, but now that I did, and I read the bylaws, I'd love to join!

-I do solemnly swear that I meet at least 120 of the descriptions in post #1.
-I do plan, organize, and arrange every one of my er, uhm, excuse me, the families trips to the World.
-I do get more excited than the kids every time we arrive at Disney World
-I have thought about quitting my job to become a Disney security guard, but the wife keeps reminding me of tuition, college, etc. (what a downer)
-I am heading to the World again in August for 2 weeks

So how about it, can I join?

Welcome. Be sure to get your membership dues out in the mail before midnight - Dole Whips, bacon, cake, or beer is acceptable.

Ok, I replied to this just because Norm didn't think anybody would. I usually don't worry too much about going back and catching up, but since it was under 10 pages that I missed last night, I did.
:

#4. Thanks man for caring.

Get rid of the cat?

I hold the door open and try to kick the cat out. She won't leave.

What intelligent comments? ;) :rotfl:

I didn't find any either.

No kidding. A few years back, we went without the kids, and yet still somehow found ourselves riding IASW. ;)

IASW is a great ride.

Great day today! Arrived at the Animal Kingdom around 10:00 am hit almost every atraction except everest. We ate at Yak and Yeti. Left Ak and went to kona cafe for dinner and then took old Band-aid over to the MK. Almost everything was walk on.:thumbsup2 Banner day! Everyone is very tired.

Glad you had a great time. Should have placed a Yak and Yeti carryout order with you to ship out.

I need to get into the gaming more pure and simple. Amelia is into Mario Kart on her DS, maybe try her out on the Wii?

I enjoy sitting down and killing time in great chunks of time. That is easy to accomplish with a video game. But, I am not addicted. I can easily turn off the video game to watch sports.

Norm, I did not include any repeats in my wife's gift.

You sir, are an excellent husband.

I missed Valentine's day at home...again.

I'm in Tampa, though I did drop into Downtown Disney for a Mickey's Premium on the way over:goodvibes:goodvibes

Warm and pretty crowded down there, I was surprised:rolleyes:

Norm, you are a master multiquoter!

Oh, and I was administrative all day. When I'm clinical I'm very focused!

The last time DW and I went camping was at one of the KY state parks before we were married. We camped in the primitive site, and the tent was a rockin. Now, I'm too old for that ..... My dds have asked to go camping. I doubt I can sleep on the ground anymore.

Hi guys. Things are moving quick to tonight! Date night with the wife, catch ya later!

Have a great date.

For what it's worth.... I am still confused ;)

:lmao:

That goes without saying.

You know that there are really reasonable campgrounds at Fort Wilderness at Walt Disney World, right. :cool1:

Are they just hook-up campsites or are there any primitive sites (tents only)?

If it happens it happens...

I ain't racing.

I have 3 hours on this battery. I'm ready to go.

I have a feeling that if I was in that situation, nature would be calling. Right down my shorts. :scared1:

Now I haven't watched all of 4 yet. I have it and we started to watch it but we ended up having to do something else and I haven't gone back to it.

So now i am in a debate with myself.

Wife is at the Fire station taking her EMS test and may not be home for a couple of hours. So I have control. BWAHHAHAHAHAHA

POTC 4 or MW3???????

Choices choices........:scratchin

MW3...ALL DAY LONG BABY:thumbsup2:rotfl2:

I like camping. If by camping you mean in a 50 foot motorhome:confused3

But lately it's just been a tent for me. Zero gravity cot from Gander mountain....only way to go in a tent.

I'm 100 miles away from DW tonite. Another VD on the road.

I would only suspect as much, Doc.

So, what makes CT so high? Property taxes?
Income tax, Sales tax, Property tax, Breathing tax, pooping tax, death tax
What's the price of gas in KY? Average for 87 here is $3.82. 5th highest in the country. Home prices? Average over $250k

We get taxed on everything. It is horrible.

Did you miss that part at the theater?
Errr.... didn't see it in the movies. :sad2: popcorn::

In CT they are just using a few tricks that they picked up from NJ (tax king):confused3
:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Sweet!!!!!

Oh, and free the second time!
Sweet x2!!!!!!!!!

I think I paid around $3.40 on Monday for gas. Owensboro is the top 5 population city in KY, but property taxes on house are 1%. I'm not sure about the rest of the state. Our local area has had fairly good job growth and unemployment is around 6%.

Errr.... didn't see it in the movies. :sad2: popcorn::

Oops. I don't see many movies in theater, but POTC is one that I catch. A great series.
