OK guys..after reading the DIS site for a couple of years, I have to admit that I hadn't stumbled on the Disdads club, but now that I did, and I read the bylaws, I'd love to join!

-I do solemnly swear that I meet at least 120 of the descriptions in post #1.
-I do plan, organize, and arrange every one of my er, uhm, excuse me, the families trips to the World.
-I do get more excited than the kids every time we arrive at Disney World
-I have thought about quitting my job to become a Disney security guard, but the wife keeps reminding me of tuition, college, etc. (what a downer)
-I am heading to the World again in August for 2 weeks

So how about it, can I join?

Welcome!!!:cool1:

Just saw this on the interwebs. THought you guys would appreciate it!

Thank you all. I intend to hit the website as soon as I get home tonight. Since I'm already sneaking around the office posting these replies, I figured I better leave the website for tonight!

FreezinRafiki....we'll be at AKV Kidani Village August 7 to August 22.

Stick around long enough...you'll learn how to make posting here look like work. :lmao:

One of my colleagues says I have a "restless mind". Thats the nicest term anyone has ever used to describe my ADHD and OCD.

I try to make it a part of my work. Helps break up the day. But then again I am in a corner room all by my lonesome with a small hall and a loud door before anyone gets in here so that makes it a bit easier.

Well...2 kids...2 different appointments...3 surgical procedures for the future.

DS12 finally got his 2nd set of Braces...soooo...with his life-time maximum for ortho was wiped out with set #1...set #2 is all on us...not that the insurance helped much with the 1st set. Then he has 1 tooth that requires a procedure to get it to come down (1)...plus he will need his wisdom teeth cut out at some point (2). Poor kid...he's gonna hate dentist for the rest of his life...well more so than most people.

DS17 has cronic sinus infections...he had a several tests done for allergies... immune system...etc... all check out OK....well now we need to see an ENT doctor for a surgical consult (3)....well at least my medical insurance will cover most of this one.

So...Monday the 13th was momentus for us.

That stinks. I hate my dentist. Good ones are so hard to find (and I live in one of the most densely packed states in the country!)

And Can't Focus on Work with 3 Days until Disney Ownage!

Lucky! :thumbsup2 <-take a guess

I'm in a section of my Building called "Tech Row"...because all the Technicians work in this area...and is the only section of the building without carpet due to the nature of our work. My boss has a very discernable stride...so I can usually hear him coming...but there is allot of traffic behind me at times...as all the restrooms are on the north side of this building...and I sit on the north end of one of 3 pathways that allow passage from the south. At least this is the least traveled of the 3.

Anyone looking for a romantic dinner tonight????

Check out THIS link. Scroll down a bit and see their Valentine's day special. One of the best deals around. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Our VD tradition for the past 16 years is Taco Bell stems back to our poor college days

That's a great tradition!!! :thumbsup2

We celebrated last night. I cooked up some NY Strips and some stuffed shrimp. DW is working late tonight.

I see you're from Clinton. I'm up here in the Waterbury area.
