Hey, Dave.

It's the government...we can find all kinds of ways to waste your money...but when all else fails, we hold a meting.

I work for a State University. We're really efficient at wasting money as well.

Why would you want to outgrow them? :confused3

Early park entrance is great. Getting up at 7:00 AM on vacation stinks.

It seems like the choices are no child left behind or no child gets ahead. :rotfl:

Here's to hoping my win the lottery plan works.

11.5 hours time to call it a day. The last hour was spent catching up on the board though so I hope to have made you proud. Glad to see the day end. I had to tell one of my assistants he will be needing a new job because of budget cuts.

Getting ready to go administer swim tests tonight. Fun, fun! The heat & humidity of the indoor pool will surely offset the 33 & flurries outside.

Hey at least you have a temp of 33. We are at 18 with snow and high winds and it supposed to drop tonight.

V

If you still have the ringtone, will you send it to me? I'll PM my email.

I think I still have the entrance video on my phone too. Grainy but you can make it out.

Did you at least have your iPad with 3G and the kids busy with there Nintendo DS? :rotfl:

;)

“All we had was rocks to play with…. and we liked it!”

Actually, Momma worked hard to keep us entertained. She would sing songs with us… play 20 questions, battle us in rounds of “first one to see….” and retell endless family stories. Me and my brother did have the 1973 equivalent of an iPod (portable transistor radios… with a mono-ear plug mind you). We also had a set of “car games” that included chess and checkers and several different versions of “Highway Bingo” (some cards had types of vehicles, some had types of road signs, some had animals). Momma also drew up a paper version of the game “Battleship” and made a bunch of copies (you drew your ships on one grid, and marked you called shots on another). Poppa’s jobs were to not wreck, not get lost, not run out of gas, referee all disputes… quickly, and find somewhere interesting to stop when all else failed. It was quite the adventure.

By the way (and if you haven’t already guessed it by now)…

I’m old.

No, no you're NOT! :rotfl2:

AND if you get lost in a field full of any ofit...I can help you find your way out...without calling 911...

unless your from Chicago...then you are on your own. :lmao:

Chicago? Et tu Nate?

I figured Chicago was still in the good graces, now Indy (home of your nemesis) that would be a different story.

Let's see... where was I in 1973.... started the year in some cramped quarters, and by the end of the year I was sitting around eating, sleeping and "processing", so pretty much what I'm doing today after 19 years of education. :rotfl2:

If you say you can remember the 70's ... you weren't really there. :hippie:

What's for dinner in Canada tonight?

Kinda like Friday Night Lite around here! :rotfl2:

:lmao:

Afternoon all!!!

Well I survived another round of our annual "Who's getting fired today?" lottery. The good news is my team is still intact, the bad news is now they are all paranoid (more than usual anyways) that they are next.

They got rid of our IT Security Manager but he got tipped off, since HR sent a list of people to revoke the security access to him that morning.....DOH! He was a good friend so as his parting gift to me he entered an exception in the security system to open Disboards back up for me.

Congrats, Randy!
