Such a person would never give a professional the chance to shoot first. What's that saying, the best defense is a good offense.

Found it!!

FED SAYS, "If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck"

:dancer:

I agree. I just don't like being insulted by "Bullfrog" Lucas thinking he can change stuff after the fact. Just because he doesn't like the way he shot it originally doesn't mean he can change history when he re-re-re-releases movies.

Unfortunately he did that with a bunch of stuff when it came time to make the prequels and other Star Wars shows/games/books etc. :sad2:

I'm DOT certified. Mark what do you do for the DOT?

I come in about 15 minutes late. I use the back entrance, so Lumberg doesn't see me. Then I sit at my desk and kinda space out for an hour or so.

There's no way that guy works for the DOT. That shovel doesn't even look leaned on!

Exactly. Also, he looks far too happy.

Nope i thought about the F-85, precursor to the very popular Cutlass sedan. I beleive the F-85 had a 330 cubic inch motor, was available in 2 and 4 door and a wagon. Not sure if the F-85 wagon was the vista cruiser or not but there was a neat drag version of it that had two 425 Toronado (sp) FWD
drivetrains in it. Had a model of it when i was a kid.

You know your Oldsmobiles.

But Kansas would have been more fun to cross in the Saber Jet.

Although the stop we made in Abilene to see the Eisenhower home and memorial helped break up the day as well.

Mark, can we talk about your TPS reports? Did you get the memo about using the new cover sheets?

Dude... It a Man Law.

Check the first page. :thumbsup2

Sorry. I new it was wanted to become a man law, wasn't aware it became one.

Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too, I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.

The thing is, Bob, it's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care.

I do see that he's got his hard hat on to deal with that "pigeon" problem.

A Crossing Kansas Story…

Waaaaay back in 73 (the middle of the oil embargo), my family took a cross-country drive from Miami to Denver to visit my Aunt and see what we could see. The vehicle of choice was a 66 Olds F-85 (not your common car). This ride had a radio in it that had long since stopped working. It simply would not pick up any station anywhere. On the return trip back toward home, we crossed the Colorado Front Range and entered Kansas. With in a mile or two, the radio kicked in (apparently it had always been turned on and just couldn’t pick up any signal). Not only did it pick up a station, it picked up one clear across the state in Kansas City. We had music and conversation to listen to the entire day. When we crossed into Missouri that evening the station started to loose signal and was gone in less then ten miles. That radio never worked again after that.

True Story.

Really!
Wow, that's like something straight out of the twilight zone. :lmao::rotfl2:

But at least in those 4 hours you can evaluate the merits of Monsanto vs. DeKalb and which hybrids produce better yields.
Say Hi to Andy for us. Clearly, you've been spending too much time with him.
Andy? What does this mean in English?
Those are two types of seed and when they harvest the crop the total is the yeild.
Since there's a lot of interest in this subject...:rolleyes1

First of all, seed corn is sold under many different names, but almost all seed corn companies are either owned by or have a signed agreement go get their genetics from one of 3 companies. They are Monsanto, Syngenta and DuPont(Pioneer).

Just to show how much people from Chicago know about corn, Dekalb IS Monsanto. So to answer Brian's initial inquiry, their yeilds ought to be pretty darn close to the same.:rolleyes1

What if - and believe me this is hypothetical - but what if you were offered some kind of a stock option equity sharing program. Would that do anything for you?

Afternoon all!!!

Well I survived another round of our annual "Who's getting fired today?" lottery. The good news is my team is still intact, the bad news is now they are all paranoid (more than usual anyways) that they are next.

They got rid of our IT Security Manager but he got tipped off, since HR sent a list of people to revoke the security access to him that morning.....DOH! He was a good friend so as his parting gift to me he entered an exception in the security system to open Disboards back up for me.

Glad to hear your team is together.

Randy! Good to see you back. Sorry it had to happen in such cruddy fashion, but that sure was cool of him to stick it to the company by lowering your productivity on his way out the door.
