Man, Mark's news about his FIL being found safe made my day!

I saw that posted on FB last night, and was relieved. I thought of you and wondered if & when you would see I. Not being on the boards last night, I haven't seen it here yet, but I was glad when I saw it.

Busy morning this morning, and then off to see SW Episode I with the wife & kids. Tonight is the first of our "pre-camp swim tests" where the Scouts have to pass the BSA swim test for Summer Camp. Taking such a large contingent each year we do these in advance to avoid taxing the camp staff, and taking up much of the boys' first afternoon in camp. Last year it was 90 boys and 35 adults. So far since I opened up the sign-up process (we do it all online), we're up to 30 Scouts and 20 adults. Well on our way to achieving another banner year at camp.

My FIL has been found safe. He was pulled over by police for speeding in Lynchburg, VA. When they asked him where he was, he said, "Delaware." He had no recollection of ever having been in North Carolina. So obviously he's very disoriented at the least. The police are taking him to the hospital in VA to get checked out and we have some stellar family members who are making the drive to get him and return the rental car. I was about to hop in the car to go get him but my wife forbade me from leaving her alone tonight after the ordeal she's been through.

Thanks for the prayers (they work!) and the offers for help. You guys rock.

Speeding, huh? Well, they caught the Son of Sam on a parking ticket. Fire all the detective! The traffic control officers have it all covered!

When I wrestled, we ran more than the track teams, swam more than the swim teams and lifted and got beat up more than the football teams... We would have football players quit within the week of starting... Not saying other sports arent tough, just a different animal and a different mentality needed.

I knew wrestlers in high school that would join cross country in the fall just to start getting in shape for wrestling.
