Stopher, when are you headed to Hawaii?? There's a chance that I'm gonna be in the Indianapolis area in March. I'm waiting on approval from our CO to attend a 2 day conference there.........

I fly west ... tomorrow! :cool1:

Hey, if you do get to come to Indy, be sure and let me know! It'd be great to see you again.

The electon cycle should be shortened to two months for the entire process. It's not like they are doing whistle stop tours anymore. It's so hard to watch the news.

I think that would be a fabulous idea. They all (both sides) get misquoted and distorted in the media anyway - why protract it? It's annoying and frustrating how once sworn in, they're basically working for a few months, and then essentially "on the campaign trail". Not to be political and take sides (because I won't do that here) - but it would be so much nicer if the "modern conveniences" that we enjoy these days would prevail and shorten the campaign cycles all around. We're not living in the 19th or even 20th century anymore - we don't depend on the stage coach or telegraph to send communication. I say 6 months - no more than that. I'm tired of these 18 month cycles.

Nice, run away from the cold:eek:, I'm sure you will be thinking of all us Dads back in the cold, or at least be laughing at us:lmao:

Have a GREAT time, looking forward to your thoughts of the place

So today is my first "at home" appointment with clients - so far if I meet people in person, we meet at Panera, or Chick-Fil-A, Paradise Bakery, their office, or something like that. Friends of ours are coming to an early dinner - and then it's time to break out the Disney talk. We've been chatting for a while now, and finally she said last week that she wants her husband to hear it all first hand. She's jazzed and pumped and is basically ready to sign on the dotted line, so to speak - but at least wants to give him the courtesy of knowing what he's about to spend a boatload of $ on. :lmao: They've never been before, and are planning a 12 day stay next January - and wants "LOTS" of fun built in to it. Parks, food, activities, side treks - the whole enchillada. They're getting so excited - well, she is - and their 2 daughters are. Sadly he has no real clue what he's in for, but hey - that's okay. I prepped him by phone the other day a bit, but she made me promise not to give away too much in advance.

And this is just the first family of the group... there will be 23 in total going. This particular family is the "lead" or organizing bunch - and then the rest will fall into line next. That'll be fun. I'm excited about it.

Should be fun.

Thanks - I'm hoping to!

But of course, Ron, you know I do still have to come BACK to the cold... so my escape is only temporary. But temporary is better than none, now isn't it? :cloud9:

And of course, you know I'm sure, that I'm looking forward to sharing my thoughts, impressions... and photos!

Christopher, good luck today! (stipulate we're all counting on you). That family is lucky to have you as a resource!

Probably the biggest understatement ever made on the boards.

I completely agree about the iPhone being SO much easier that the BB. Are you just using the safari browser to view the boards?

I am using Safari. I've heard E-ticket (the disboards) app is not very good. Anyone use it? Thoughts?

Any advice on buying disney tickets? Any difference between going direct through DIS vs. other sites such as Undercover Tourist?

We're looking at a 10 day no expire.

thx!

Why 10 day no expiry? If you are looking to use it for two or more trips within a year, then it would be cheaper to buy a annual pass.

We've thought about the 10 day no expire as we don't do parks each trip, or tend to do the MNSSHP. And, while tickets keep going up and we would save money over time, it's that initial lay out for the 10 tickets.

Did I see the half time stats right? Pats has more rushing yards and Ravens and have more passing yards? It is not a high scoring game but it has been a good one.

I guess they were playing possum in the regular season.

Well, looks like the real Pats Defense showed up.

It's a concierge travel service. That's a cool idea. I've never worked a job where I could have client meetings at Panera or Starbucks or something like that, but wish I could.
