You guys crack me up. I checked yesterday and you were on page 35 of this thread. I get on this morning, and we're in the 50's, with lots of posts about how slow it is in here. :rotfl2:

Got a meeting now, but I'll check in later.

:wave2: Hi Mark!

When you're back, we'll probably be in the 60's.

Morning guys.
I believe this must be the record for earliest DisDad meet. :thumbsup2

We keep records of that stuff right???? :rotfl: it. :thumbsup2

If not, then we should. Thru the force, i feel another spread sheet being opened or sheet inserted. Need to include date of meet (settle who's first), time of meet, date posted (because fastest to post would be a record as well), how many in picture, .....

My DW is dieting as well right now. Thankfully, she didn't drag me down with her. :cool1:

Now I have to drink for two since she's not drinking right now. :rotfl2:

I'm finding it hard to drink all the beer in my keg quick enough to avoid it going skunky.

I keep trying to invite DisDads over to drink my free beer, but have yet to have any takers! :confused3

:lmao:

It's the commute. I'm 3.5 hours away from Cincinnati. How much further are you? I could always stay Big Bone Lick KY State park (yeah folks - that's the real name). We used to do that when we would go to a Reds game.

On my way. Post haste. :thumbsup2

BRILLIANT! :thumbsup2 I'm shocked Barry hasn't approved this message yet! :rotfl2:
I'm Barry, and I approve this message.:thumbsup2

I saw Chipwrecked yesterday, and not to ruin it for anyone, but what if i end up on an island with talking chipmunks?
Fry 'em and eat 'em. A chipmunk is a chipmunk, and I'll bet they're delicious.

I have it on good authority that Barry is the tag fairy. Let him have it. :thumbsup2
I've been a tooth fairy.
I'll sit down with my daughter on her bedroom floor and play with her and her Tinker Bell dolls.
But I can assure you, sir, I'm no tag fairy.

(Or am I...?) :scratchin:

Well, I posted on page 1, now we're in the 50's (Maybe 60's, depending on how long it takes me to type this. Kind of makes me wonder what else has been said about me in the past 3 days. :confused3

Morning Dads!

I'm going out to the country this afternoon to scout a location for a Haunted House. I updated my trip report (twice in one week? UNHEARD OF!) And I get to work late teching another basketball game.

Should be an interesting day.

I'm finding it hard to believe there are no dads heading to the World in April this year! :confused3 I would normally be one of them, but we currently have no plans to visit this year. Still waiting for that winning lottery ticket..... :lmao:

Well Barry! So nice of you to rejoin us. I've been wondering when you might pop in again.

:wave2:

Hoping for my week to improve and wishing all other Dads a great one! pirate:

On the plus side, now you know how late you can sleep in and still get to work! :thumbsup2

hey i got on !!!! :dance3: geezzz, i tried about 4 - 5 time to log on this afternoon and couldnt get on. i had to my to my aunts viewing tonight and we just got home. ive seen some relatives i havnt seen in 35 years. my aunt(my moms sister) had 4 kids and between the grand kids, great grand kids and the great great grand kids, there were 36 of them. she was 93.

Sorry for your loss, Dave. Sounds like she lived a wonderful, full life.

Took the kids ice skating tonight - I didn't go, I just drove them :)

It was for the Girl Guides, they had a public skating night.

So after they were finished, I went and picked then u, I carried the skate bag, and as we were walking back the car, I tripped on a slippery patch of ice / mud, and fell and twisted my wrist, my knee, and anything else that could get twisted.

So for not even lacing up skates, I am the only one to come home with injuries.

Just sad! :sad2:

Ouch! Hope you're feeling better. I promise I won't laugh at your misfortune.

Ok, maybe a little bit. :rotfl2:

RodBelding and I's meet before the Marathon. Yup a meetup before 4am and you have to run 26 miles as soon as it's done. This is what happens when you let your nemesis plan the meetup.:lmao:

:scared1:

I'd be willing to get up at 4 a.m. to meet you guys, but you're on your own with the running thing.

I've got an older half-brother no, not one locked up in the attic, though that'd be REALLY cool.... Seems that, without a lot of details, between my mom's divorce from her first husband, and marrying dad, she had a son whom she had to give up to adoption. As it turns out, Friday he tracked her down after 42 years. So at last the trurh was bared.

Well, I am in a wee bit of shock here, to a degree. Part of me is....meh, part of me is ***, another part hungry for burgers I was catching up on posts tonight. Not really sure what the end result of all this is going to be either. This is going to be interesting...

Wow...lots to process there!

I still haven't gotten my red DDC thing!! Under my name..

Every group needs a rebel. Giving in to the tag fairy now would be like giving it to peer pressure. Yeah, that's it.

Discussions on how to protect Catalytic Converters?:confused3:lmao:

:headache:

We might need a vigilante crew. My buddy had his stolen in the same lot...waited at the local town police station for 1.5 hours for the state police to arrive, because the town police insisted it was the state's jurisdiction. After all that, they finally realized it was the town's jurisdiction. :sad2:

I haven't read it all, but I'm going to take a wild guess and say it was something about your minivan and bacon, and maybe poking fun at the Packers.

Only good things... I swear...

;)

Good Morning Stopher.
I was sort of wondering the same thing myself.
Congrats on getting a thread named after you! :thumbsup2

That sounds about right.
Hey, how did the Eagles do in the playoffs this year?

We don't have any trips planned for two full years. :sad1: When you win that lottery, be sure to share your secret.

If I had boys I'd say MAN LAW!
I don't think I saw a Second, so...

Second

Anyone thought of a DIS dad's cruise? I know where we might be able to find a cruise ship, but it needs a lot of work. What a tragic story.
My nemesis, the boat expert, could probably get it back up and running. :lmao:

 Not sure what to say... other than interesting. I'm sure there's a lot of questions to be answered and blanks to be filled in. Hopefully things will turn out for the best.

Most importantly though, did you get that burger? :confused3

Well, in retrospect, it sure as hell beats all the cancer news from the past few years
:thumbsup2

Morning all. Back to work after another 4 day weekend (snow).
:sad2: Kentuckians and their fear of a little dusting.

Great, now you have me thinking a drunk Captain Jack Sparrow was charting the islands.
Yes. And he was using a compass that doesn't point north.

My backup plan is to be too drunk to be worried.
Wait a minute... that's the backup plan? What was the original plan then? :confused3 :lmao:

"Around the World" anyone?:rotfl2:
I'm in.

Do you think you can get a breathalyzer to track our progress? :confused3:rotfl2:

That sounds about right.
Hey, how did the Eagles do in the playoffs this year?
About as well as the Colts. But they certainly didn't get their peanut butters handed to them by the Giants. :rolleyes1

I've definitely thought of such a thing - but not using that ship, or that captain, of course.

But look how much it is like pulling teeth just to get a group together for WDW. Think what a cruise would be like.

I'm working on getting a group together right now from the local area. They're looking at about 35-50 staterooms. Fingers crossed as I continue to meet with them. That would be great. And once you do one, it's easier to do the next one. Lots of moving parts. I'd LOVE to do some of those great big groups with 200-400 blocks of cabins... someday.

fed has a boat!!! ahh, wait, i hear its hard to put in the water.:lmao:

See, we Wisconsinites are polite, the Packers saw that Miss Wisconsin won the Miss America pagent, so they allowed the Giants to win, so as to not hog all the titles to one state in a single year. It's the same reason why the Brewers didn't take the World Series last year. :thumbsup2
