id love to stay in a grand villa at blt!! just to stand in front of that two story window in the living room, facing the mk? i would sleep on the living room floor.

Never stayed in a GV. Largest I've stayed in is a 1 BR, and those were terrific. My dds are still small at 10 and 7, but I imagine they would like the extra room. And, I know I would like to have a room with DW. But, I'm just not sure I can handle those dues payments. I know times of year can change, but if wanted to stay in our Spring and Fall BReak times, which we will for another 10 years, then it would be over 550 points in a 1 BR SV for those two time period. That would be over $2000 a year in dues now, much less ten years from now.

I used to love that place as well....

I remember Boxing day morning, going down and picking up records (or CD's), every year - same deal - buy 2 get 1 free.

We'd get in line at 6:00 am, in the frigid cold. Those were the days...

Come to think of it, that's probably when I filled out the mystery ballot.

Well looks like this game is over. At least the NO/SF game was fun to watch.

It's terrible. And, to make matters worse, I picked both games in Yahoo wrong. I may need to rethink tomorrow. I did get to catch 4th quarter of NE/SF game. It was great.

Looks like I'm 2 for 2 today. I hope SF goes all the way, I'd love to see the Hardbowl!

The first game wasn't bad. I think Denver needs to pull Tebow now and go with Quinn. Even at his best (last week), he's never thrown that many TD passes. Time to try something new. I guess Fox just wants to make his point how much he hates Tebow and is going to keep running the ball and let him stink it up.

I'd like to make up an elaborate story, how Mike Myers was my best buddy growing up 1 street away, and we'd play road hockey all day long, and how he even based one of his SNL characters after me. Oh, the good ole days.

But that would be a lie, the truth of the matter is... I won it! I filled out a ballot at one of the Toronto landmark record stores (years ago), and they called me and asked me if I filled out a ballot... I didn't remember filling it out, but I must have. They told me to come down and pick up my prize.

Very cool. Is it wrong that the last time I was in TO Sam's was still there and running strong? Knowing that its gone now kinda makes me want to take a trip back there to see what else has changed.

Talk about (aboot?) similar memories. We used to spend Christmas at my grandparents house in Victoria and I would do the exact same thing at A&B Sound. It got to be that all of my family would just give me cash knowing that I would be lining up the next day to load up on music. (Cassette Tapes... man I'm old)

Holidays are tough for us...not much going on operationally, so it's when I usually get caught up on all the other stufff (paperwork)

I used to load up on cassettes as well.

Amazing how technology completely wiped out such a huge wide spread platform.

Growing up my folks had an 8-track in the car.
