Maybe we make a rule - Last to Post loses, and has to buy dolewhips for 10 Dads by random draw.

I can do the Draw...

First name picked: twokids
Second name picked: Look at that, it was twokids
Third name picked: Brian from Canada
etc...

Note to self. Do not let DW read this book and have to buy jewelry.
Morning or early afternoon all. Off to see chipwrecked with the girls today.

I meant to go back and add more detail, because this is not a typical jewelry purchase. The knecklaces are $20. They are paper bead knecklaces made by women in the slums of Masase Uganda. They make the knecklaces so that they have an alternative to prostitution. The NGO that helps them distribute the knecklaces in the US helps them manage their money. They wind up living on about 50% of their pay which is much more than they would have made as a protitute and they put the other 50% into a savings account so that they can save up enough money to eventually move into a home.

OR - we could revise that proposed rule to a better one, like this: Last to post loses, and has to buy a Dole Whip and an Itzakadoozie for the Dad who has secured the highest number of individual threads with the most posts in said threads.

I think that would be a better than you simply appointing yourself as the winner of your "drawing" ::yes::

Hey, Stopher. You're a west coast guy. Are you going to join the masses on the southside for dinner to try out the new Jack in the Box??? :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Completely more off-topic-er question. Did you ever post a picture in the pink Disdads shirt?

WHat?!? There's a Jack in the Box opening in Indy? Seriously? I had not heard.

I will not be going there anytime soon... but will need to investigate this. Yum.

Yeah... not exactly sure where. Somewhere around the Southport/Greenwood area. They were just talking about it on Channel 59 news. Today was the grand opening and apparently, they've had traffic lined up down the street about all day and even have off duty police officers to help with crowd control.

Must be a good burger... :confused3

Here's an interesting tidbit I read on MP today.

"…Our friends at TouringPlans.com are noting that Disney's Hollywood Studios is testing a new park opening procedure this week. Although the official park hours will show a 9 a.m. opening time, the gates will actually open at 8:30. At that time, Toy Story Mania, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, and Tower of Terror will be open. Sign-ups for Jedi Training Academy and Fastpass distribution at all attractions also begins at 8:30. All other attractions will keep guests outside until 8:45. To get a jump on the crowds who may not know about this procedure, make sure you're at the park a half-hour earlier than you planned this week."

Should make things interesting if they move this up from just a test to reality.

Interesting.

Most interesting.

They were always good when I was young. They are on my "to stop at" list when I go west... though that list is pretty long, and I can't always get to every name on the list.

They also were the inspiration for all of the "order in the clown's mouth" jokes through the years regarding drive-thru speakerboxes.

So now there will be a race for TSM FPs 30 minutes early? :confused3 :3dglasses

That's interesting. I wonder what that does to rope drop as those attractions are spread out through-out the park. Do they still do the traditional Rope drop ceremony only move it to 8:30 or do they skip it all together?

No Ryan, I apologize, I have not.

I need to rectify that.
Not an issue, I was just wondering if I'd missed it.

So are they above or below "In n Out Burger" on that list?

Not sure how this will help anything. :confused3 Seems like it will be the same chaos, just a half hour earlier.

Hi guys. Have not been able to get on all afternoon. I feel wierd not being on here much the last three days :confused3

It means people out of the know will get there at 9 walk to TSM see the line is already 50 minutes long and FPs are for 2pm.

This. Doesn't sound like an improvement to me. The lines will fill up and the FPs will be gone faster, that's all. :sad2:

Okay, I've heard about these, but I've never seen them, can someone post a picture of an Itzakadoozie?

Nevermind, I Googled it.
