I also heard the MK is the ONLY park still doing an actual "Rope Drop" ceremony now... apparently that's been for a few months now.

It's the only one we caught while we were there last week... I didn't realize all the others had stopped, I thought only Epcot...

Hey Don, if you are naming threads after members by total posting rank, I'm next, ok? :thumbsup2

Last week was pretty nice. When I started the new job about a year ago I had to change offices in the building and unfortunately, that meant losing my window view. On Monday I was able to score an office with a view to the world outside again and be able to see the light of day (since often times I get to work before sun-up and leave after sun-down). In addition, a few of my big projects have completed and I was recognized with a moderate bonus. Although it doesn’t make up for the long hours and weekends spent in the office, it’s nice to get a little something back. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 <-- Definitely Thumbs!

This weekend, as I worked outside, I noticed that the heat pump would cutoff and then be right back on within a few seconds. We have been having problems with this unit losing Freon for about five years now (although the unit is less than 10 years old) and were told by the last guy to come out “all we’re doing is putting a band-aid on a dying patient”. I guess that I know where the bonus check (and a few more checks) will be going… :sad2:

On top of that, my new team lead had called a meeting for 8:00 a.m. this morning and I accidentally slept until 7:25. It takes me about 20 minutes to get to work but I was able to get showered, shaved, and dressed in time to be in the conference room right at 8:00. There was no one else there when I arrived so I sat and waited for about 10 minutes before going to their offices. No one was home. While I’m searching around for these folks, I finally get a voicemail on my desk phone from the Team Lead at 8:15 saying one guy had to travel today and that he had decided that he would just take the day off. :mad::headache::furious:

Hoping for my week to improve and wishing all other Dads a great one! pirate:

Not an issue, I was just wondering if I'd missed it.

So are they above or below "In n Out Burger" on that list?
Way below, but I have JIB here in WA, closest In & Out is Reno, I think.

I would be up for a naming thread in a few more. Not sure to feel honored or scared by what Don could come up with?

Hi guys. Have not been able to get on all afternoon. I feel wierd not being on here much the last three days :confused3

Don't feel weird, you are weird. Just too easy.

I meant to go back and add more detail, because this is not a typical jewelry purchase. The knecklaces are $20. They are paper bead knecklaces made by women in the slums of Masase Uganda. They make the knecklaces so that they have an alternative to prostitution. The NGO that helps them distribute the knecklaces in the US helps them manage their money. They wind up living on about 50% of their pay which is much more than they would have made as a protitute and they put the other 50% into a savings account so that they can save up enough money to eventually move into a home.

Well, that is different.

:worship: Norm, I like you, and more than that I respect you. So I will honor your wishes and I will not call for a race to the finish on this thread! "](It's not like you guys need me to do that,)[/]

Your last statement is correct. And, I had to have a little fun. Thanks for the nice words.

Just for the record, we caught TSM with a 20 minute standby this September.

Ended up only waiting about 13 though:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Lucky, not good:lmao::lmao::lmao:
