I eat like crap on business trips! Just wanted everyone to know.

So far, Firehouse Subs, Chipotle, Chik-fil-a (with a banana shake), and Wendy's. Time to break that pattern and find a sit-down restaurant. It's looking like an Olive Garden night. Gotta use up that per diem!

Dinner in North Atlanta tonight was salad and breadsticks. I followed that with grilled sausage and peppers with mozzarella tossed with penne and a spicy marinara sauce. The dessert to go is the Triple Chocolate Strata- a decadent combo of chocolate layered with traditional Italian tortas topped with a chocolate ganache. I'll hit the treadmill in the morning.

Morning everyone...never did the drive in, was too bushed after work, had another run-in with the boss about "my attitude".Other then that, really busy, the morning pre Greece-Poland game was nuts, we sold a beverly-load of polish beer before the 11:30 game start

One of the best days of my life was in Poland drinking a Polish beer. My friends went to Auschwitz for the day but I wasn't feeling like it. Just sat at an outdoor cafe in Krakow with beer and kielbasa. Awesome day.

Had a very nice night last evening at the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Six people were inducted and I'm sure you wouldn't know five but some of you may remember Matt Stairs, especially if you are a Phillies fan and maybe a Dodgers fan.

Or a Cubs fan!

It was too hot on the golf course yesterday.

Then again, I suck, so any discomfort is multiplied when you can hit any fairway but the one you're aiming for.

Hitting the wrong fairway is ok. Hitting the wrong green is another story.

I don't know yet. Cousin Christine is handling that. After reading about your troubles this morning, I called her and told her to take care of it asap. We only need a studio. Are those gone too?

We were there pretty early for batting practice. It actually did fill up later. I'd say about 50-50 between Orioles and Phillies fans.

I went there for a Cubs game several years ago and got there early. We were right behind the Cubs dugout along with about a hundred other Cubs fans. Antonio Alfonseca goes to the top step and is just looking out over the field. Everyone was yelling for his autograph (hey- how often do you get to meet a pitcher with 11 fingers?) but he didn't give any. My wife the Spanish teacher yells, "Oye, Sr Alfonseca. Puede firmar la gorra por favor?" (Hey you! Can you sign the hat please?) He came off the step, disappeared in to the dugout and popped up right in front of us. Asked for my hat and signed it. No one else got an autograph.

Not bad. Ran to Walgreens last night to pick up a prescription. Instead of using the one 2 blocks from the house, I sent it to the one 3 miles away. Nice little 6 mile round trip.

Atta boy. I just started running again yesterday. A leisurely 3 miles. I'll do about the same tomorrow.

hehe... all I got was a visit from the tooth fairy and 1 $1000 bill from the dentist for the new tooth!

If by "bill" you mean paper money valued at $1000, I say good for you. My guess is that's not what you mean.

Why do you get the good business trip and I don't. Oh well, next week I go to Las Vegas.

A measly $35. No way I can get away with that in Vegas.

I only get $30. I try to make some extra money by bringing my lunch, grabbing extra fruit and biscuits from morning breakfast for lunch, and grocery shopping for a couple meals. But, buying a six pack of beer and a box of cupcakes over 3 nights does cut into that profit margin.

DD is no longer a preschooler!! Last day of school was yesterday, graduation ceremony was today.

Excellent! Audrey's preschool Grad ceremony is next Thursday, her last day July 13th...Heaven Help Kindergarten

I've been to the Dr 3 times now in a week and a half, 1st spider bite, then was really tired with a case of a week stomach and a nasty cough, back today for hives since all of a sudden the Codine in the cough medicine had a negative reaction (look like a leopard gecko)

I'm laying down the law it's got to stop I'm on vacation next week and I'm not going to take it

Better now then right before/during Disney.

The drive has not been to bad. The girls have been good and until now no storms. There are popcorn storms now but we are 100 plus miles into florida. We have no reservations for tonight so we are playing it by ear, we often travel and while we drive we don't get reservations so no big deal.

When we drive down we're going to take our chances along the way, as long as we have the Disney/Cocoa Beach places reserved. Are you using the Welcome Center's coupon books?

One of my co-workers is in Poland right now doing the family thing. Posted a picture of them sitting around drinking beer, having a grand old time.

Left the holler at 4:15 for a meeting in the city. Put me here an hour early but if I had waited an extra 20 minutes I would have gotten tied in in traffic coming in and would have been late. Being able to walk to work has it's advantages. I'll be ready for a nap by lunch!
