I was thinking of looking at condos and house's while down in WDW, instead of getting DVC, this way I could go whenever I feel like it, and rent it out to other Did Dads

There are some condos right outside the parks for really good prices. I only know this because I have a friend who lives there... If you decide to buy one let me know and I'll come for the housewarming... And stay for a few months...

I guess the big ? would be location, where would be the best area, followed by house or condo, People I know that also own properties in Fl say it's a buyers market and you can pick them up dirt cheap right now (well at least compared to NJ)

Figure if you can get a few people to go in and buy a few properties, rent them out and buy more properties, in a few years everyone involved would be able to retire, Plus since you would have a FL address you can get the FL AP

Lost the boss this morning. It was exactly what I figured it would be. He's moving to a different department that needs an overhaul. The rest of us are being merged into another group under a good guy that I have known for many years, so while I have enjoyed working for the guy who is leaving, I'm happy with the way that everything turned out.

Seems to be the season for units to need attention. We've had to replace both our heat pumps in the last few years (Yes... BOTH)
Yay for reward points!

Mine's being replaced tomorrow...$5100 bucks...yay me

Mine was replaced two weeks ago. Glad I know a guy in the business. He was able to find me a good one for much less than I would have had to pay.

(late) Evening all....one more shift to go, be glad to get these nights done and over with.

Been a long day, very nerve-wracking. My bro posted on FB that he had to take his DD to the hospital, and was there for 12 hours while they ran tests on her. She couldn't out any pressure on her leg apparently when she woke up (all this out of the blue) and a few other things. My SIL was freaked, apparently this is the same road her brother went down when diagnosed with Leukemia. As it turns out, her knee joint is inflammed, weird for a 2yr old, but what do I know? (not much ) Found it hard to focus today, thinking about them, they a having a rough go of it, not many breaks lately. My parents came home from the trailer to help out too.

To find a plus, we got a fair deal on a new air conditioner for the apartment, to keep the living room cool. Of course, we got it now that that nasty heat wave has passed. It;s actually chill tonight sitting by the window.

How nice....an entire area dedicated to fathers who are obsessed with Disney.

I would classify myself as a Disney Dad....My wife and I were married at Disney (Disney Wedding Pavilion), all three of my children have had their 1st vacation at Disney (and each of their B-days). I have a Mickey Mouse tattoo, and watch Disney movies on a weekly (or more) basis. Nice to see so many dads with the same obsession.
