Interesrting morning so far...

Power went out breifly at 6:30, back on, no probs. As I got things together to take Amelia it went out again, for a longer strech, no power in the building whatsoever, not even the emergancy lights in the stairwells. Amelia was scared, but I found a couple of flashlights and we made our way down 10 flights, got drenched in the rain/wind. At least the hydro crews were working on the transformer when we got down there. Still off when I got home, so had to climb 10 flights stairs up in wet clothes, not fun. 5 minutes agter I get back...power comes on.

To top it off, I got attacked by a bird while passing the library. Little bugger pecked me in the head! Might hide under the covers till it's safe

I might have an exciting travel destination next summer, but there's a lot that has to happen first, so I can't make it official...yet.

I might have an exciting travel destination next summer, but there's a lot that has to happen first, so I can't make it official...yet.

Probably at least a year. I just bought APs for WDW (before the soon to be announced price hike). We'll activate them in August, giving us until next August before they expire, so we'll probably go down there again next summer since it's "paid for".

I guess the big ? would be location, where would be the best area, followed by house or condo, People I know that also own properties in Fl say it's a buyers market and you can pick them up dirt cheap right now (well at least compared to NJ)

Figure if you can get a few people to go in and buy a few properties, rent them out and buy more properties, in a few years everyone involved would be able to retire, Plus since you would have a FL address you can get the FL AP

And get someone to manage it. With the market as is, I would buy there condo now rent it for the next 10 years just to break even. I want a condo within walking distance of WDW. Seriously, if you find something and are interested, let me know and we can work it out.
