We just went through that here. Not only did my DS have it but my DD and I got it too. It was harsh on me.. I wish I was dead for 36 hours. But we fed DS yogurt, pops, basically anything cold and kept him hydrated. DD didn't want to eat anything for about 2 days. We fed her soup and lots of water. I had it the worst. I couldn't even move. It was horrible.

To make matters worse, I somehow bruised my heel/arch and whining every step I take...and I lost my voice. I canceled my sales call to help DW to try to avoide the newborn from contracting it....still not 100% that it is F&M, but looks like it.

Time will tell...sure glad I work from home. Still sitting at the table doing quotes and emails. My 1pm conference call should be fun...pray my voice returns (I can somewhat be heard)

Thanks guys! Everything went well today (although she had a huge migraine after the case). She's home & in bed now. But it'll be another 6 weeks before we know if she'll need the major one.

I just got contacts last week. Its a hard adjustment getting used to poking yourself in the eye to get them in and out, but after a week I'm pretty well used to them.

If you're still having problems, I'm sure your nemesis would be willing to poke you in the eye...

Because I saw this and it amused me...

Yeah, my usual workout. I've been doing the Tony Horton stuff with an added light weight routine at home. I think I'll start the workouts again, minus the weights.

Do you use resistance bands at all? I've found them to be great for workouts without putting the unnecessary stress on your joints that free-weights do.

Glad to hear it went well Chris (minus the migraine). Praying for good news in 6 weeks.

Ah, yes! I remember those days. I've had mine for about 3 years now. The first night that I had them and tried to take them out to go to bed, I couldn't get one of them out. About 2 hours later, my eye was pretty much completely red from endless attempts to retrieve it, and I know that contact is rolled up to the top of my eye because I can feel it there. I finally decided to give up and just go to bed and hope it works itself down as I sleep so I can try again in the morning.

The next morning I found a dried up contact on the bathroom floor.:headache:

Glad she is home recovering Chris. Hopefully everything went to plan and she won't need another surgery.

LOL....

That's like running a race and having your iPod die after one song because you didn't charge it. :rotfl::rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl:

I put one in backwards yesterday. Holy Heck I wanted to die just to have the pain stop.

There appears to be some rampant speculation regarding a dead battery. That can't be farther from the truth. The battery was fully charged. Song file was corrupt. Playing it through iTunes locked up my computer at the same spot in the file that my iPod choked at.

riiiggggghhhhhtttt...

Ever hear of this?

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

So in other words, you were downloading bootleg music files. :rolleyes1

Have a good shift.

Sound good, except for bugs. Maybe the bugs over AK can help fight them off.

Great pic and your DD is beautiful! :littleangel:

.

I use the resistance bands in workout but I still have my free weights & bench from high school. I'll go with the bands for awhile and hold off on other until I'm sure. I like using both.

Well, if I recall, I think he mentioned that the first part of the course was uphill. I can only imagine the carnage that would have ensued if he had tried to reset his iPod while running uphill. It would be a national news story after he wiped out all of the runners behind him on his way back down.:lmao::rotfl:

I never could get used to that. I get pretty skittish about stuff around my eyeballs, and decided glasses worked just fine.

good afternoon! getting caught up from the weekend...

Excellent. I've got more weight on me than you, but i hit a slow down when my back went out. I am about 90% healed, but sitting has increased my food and drink intake. Need to get started again, but am afraid of reinjury.

Take it slow... (but not too slow)

He is the narrator voice on the African Cats Disney movie, and i kept waiting to hear Watch out for the motherfiretrucking snakes on a plane.

:lmao:

Will be heading to Mexico in a few minutes. Happy Cinco and Derby Day everyone. Flight was nice, upgraded me to First. Bloody Mary on the way down. Will post some pics if I can figure how to do it from an Ipad.

sounds like a great way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!

Let's check the remaining candidates for when will Norm be drunk poll.

Thanks for playing, "when will Norm be drunk by?". Looking forward to playing the game again.

:woohoo:

What is up this find Saturday evening...baseball was rained out for the third Saturday in a row today. So, that gave us the opportunity get somnethings done that were not going to get done otherwise. Shari had me going to multiple greenhouses along the course of the day and she has most of the outdoor color for the season purchased. I also had to make an honest woman out of Lauren today. When they went to Toys R Us last night it seems that Lauren picked up a pack of tic tacs an d left without paying for them. Marched her back in there today and made her tell them what happend and pay for them. I hope that I didnt scarred her for life...I know it has scarred me!! Hopefully she has learned a lesson!!!

Tomorrow we have a makeup baseball game at 4pm for LAST weeks rainout!!!

:thumbsup2 way to go!! you did the right thing!
