ugh, no fun...went through that with one of our little ones, be faithful with the treatments!

She has the bumps on her hands and feet and I can't keep her hands out of her mouth....guessing a sore throat.

Treatment is to let it run its course and isolate her from the 3wk old and wash everything she touches.

It's been awhile so I might have confused that with something else...let me do some research and I'll get back to you

OK...upon further review I have no idea what I'm talking about, we dealt with Thrush, which I knew was a "baby" version of something else, but that something else is a yeast infection, not foot and mouth. Sorry...

Morning Men!

Been a rough weekend, did alot of work around the house and yard. Definitely feeling it this morning, very sore. Something about holding a weedeater for 3 hours that just kills my back and shoulders!

May is already flying by, but still won't go fast enough when you leave for the World on June 1st.

I'm off tomorrow for the kids' school picnic, and an eye dr. appointment. I'm hoping for contact lenses before the Disneyworld trip.

I got to strum the Stratocaster this weekend, and I can play a passable version of Hard Days Night, I got the lawn mowed, and got the new swingset put together. Overall, a solid weekend.

Work just needs to slow down, but that's not going to happen. Instead, I'll just keep on thinking "just 4 more weeks till I'm having a Dole Whip"

Good morning gentlemen and others, made it through a decent weekend. Only decent because while we had a successful yard sale and some good stuff happened, my wife was feeling a bit under the weather so we didn't get to do as much as we'd have liked.

Went and saw Avengers on the 3D IMAX last night...wow, loved it.

Isn't "Canada's Wonderland" an oxymoron???

Well...looks like next year's 1-1/2 week trip has morphed to 3 weeks! We are now seriously looking at going all out, driving down, and hitting Daytona, Seaworld and Universal plus the usual Disney palooza. .

That reminds me I haven't updated the weight-loss attempt in a while. Last week, I was down to 217, down 2lbs from the previous week. Yesterday I weighed in at 215.5. It appears that I am slowing down. I had been expecting this to happen. Still way ahead of the pace to reach my goal of 40lbs lost by August 1. To date, I have lost 24.5lbs!! If you had told me when I started two months ago that by my birthday I'd be down from 240 to 215, well, I wouldn't have believed it. It seems like it's time to start working some exercise into my day to keep thing moving along.

As for falling off the wagon, well, it's unavoidable. So far I have survived Easter and DS's birthday party. The ball game tomorrow will be tough, and those darn cupcakes will be another speedbump. All I can do is limit myself (since I can't totally resist) and then get right back on the wagon afterwards.

We did homemade pizza here as well. Came out great.

We do it here too, but no one can ever agree on what toppings to use. So I buy the individual 8" crusts, and everyone gets to make their own. The kids love it!

I just got contacts last week. Its a hard adjustment getting used to poking yourself in the eye to get them in and out, but after a week I'm pretty well used to them.

My youngest had that. Went thru day care. Pediatrician said it is a virus they will grow out of. I guess he was right. Don't see them anymore.

That's good stuff. Make sure you don't re-injure it by lifting 1,000s of pounds of weight at the gym to show off, like you're known to do...

Yeah, my usual workout. I've been doing the Tony Horton stuff with an added light weight routine at home. I think I'll start the workouts again, minus the weights.

Great morning. For the first time, able to get out of bed with absolutely no back pain. I am going to resume my exercising routine.

We just went through that here. Not only did my DS have it but my DD and I got it too. It was harsh on me.. I wish I was dead for 36 hours. But we fed DS yogurt, pops, basically anything cold and kept him hydrated. DD didn't want to eat anything for about 2 days. We fed her soup and lots of water. I had it the worst. I couldn't even move. It was horrible.
