Smartphone, multiquote ownage.

We joined the world of Iphone around the same time as Dave and Tammy and LOVE IT!! We had used Palm before that....uuugh!

I had the palm Treo. It wasn't bad.

The wife and I switched from BB to iPhone and it's like going from black and white tv to a big ole HDTV flatscreen (ease of use, features, etc). Be sure to get applecare if you get it, they cover cracked screens, etc.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the iPhone 4S

I really enjoy my Windows phone. I don't have anything Apple. DW and dd have Kindle Fire which has Android (I think). It is real nice.

A co-worker used to call them mental health days, basicly I just call in sick, use a sick day, but I'm not really sick..shhhhhhhhhhh

I never understood when people got upset when someone took a personal or sick day. There are a benefit, just like health insurance. No one ever said, how dare you use your health insurance to pay for your dr visit!

That's why we like cats. Give 'em enough food and water for the week and you don't need to bother with boarding. Add a person that's willing to stop by every couple of days to refill dishes and make sure they're not dead and you're golden!

My high school offered their first computer class spring of my senior year. The computer had a cassette tape. I didn't take the class hoping they would go away. i finally turned on my first computer when I started grad school. It was an IBM PS 2.

Well, technically I don't have a guest room. Unless you count the futon down in the basement which is entirely too close to the kegerator and the rest of the booze!

Next morning, Don would wake up stumbling drunk and wearing my daughter's princess costumes!

On second thought, my basement is available!

I'll take the room with the kegerator. I won't wear the dress, but the beer will be gone. Count on it.

It;s not like I have the days saved up, I'm at something like 60 now. Hey, I like to put in a honest days work, but there are times, I know it's best to walk away for a bit. I always try to make sure nothing is going on though, and that I know they can replace me when it happens, there are some part-timers who could really use the $$ anyways.

As it turns out though, I'm not using any for a while unless it's a legit sick, there is too much pn my plate now to feel comfortable doing it.

I live a bit deeper in the south… we’re all rednecks on one level or another.

I might qualify as hillbilly.

The only folks down this far that even get a pension are the ones that already make twenty and thirty times the average. My employer dropped their pension plan nearly twenty years ago, so I started plowing as much as possible into 401. I lost half of that in the crash in mid 08. Again, the wealthy have pretty much gotten their losses back (and you’re welcome ya’ bunch of ******), but those of us down toward the bottom of the middle will be looking at a number of long years just to get anywhere near braking even.

I had a tandy computer with a cassette to record data as my first computer at home. I keep my hair cut short so you can't see the gray.

I was a supervisor for awhile. I'm sure I did a lot of bad things, but I encouraged my people to use their leave time. They were paid for it. It is a benefit.
