Others I know have fared about the same. My first car sits in a Hurley scrapyard, alone, cold, covered by 3 feet of snow year 'round.


Hurley is the city equivalent of Beverly.

The Hodag is ever where up there. ( Or, I guess, down there to you). The high school mascot is the Hodag, the newspaper is the Hodag Press, there is a huge country music festival named after it.

Hopefully I will get caught up soon. I've just been overwhelmed at home and I'm not sure when things will ease up. What little spare time I seem to get, I've been using to read since I now have the kindle. I've just started the Harry Potter books, and it's going slowly, so perhaps it's time to give the kindle a break.

I have to update my sig because today is DD's birthday and she is now the big 5!! I guess she's officially a child now?

From the looks of it the last time I was there, I think they just leave out cleaning supplies and hope the local wildlife will clean it for them. The little raccoon cleaning gloves they have are CUTE!
