KY does not have any professional teams, which makes it difficult for me. Correction - Louisville has minor league baseball - but I'm referring to MLB, NBA, NFL, etc. Last year, we had our first NASCAR Cup race, but I could not get tickets. I have the Colts in Indy and Titans in TN, but those are 2 hour plus drives away, NOT counting traffic time after exiting the games.

So, I tend to cheer on all our KY college teams, but am not a fanatic like many of our local UK fans. 2 years ago, when Coach Calipari first arrived at UK, he was criticized by fans for losing 3 games that year. People here tend to lose perspective that these players were just 17 year old high school kids last year, and today, they hold the fate of the free world - a UK win - in their hands. Silly.

I wanted to go to the NASCAR race too but tickts were not easy to come by!!

As far as Kentucky teams....yeah I cheer for them too...except when they play Ohio State or Marshall!!

This is how I am starting my morning after a night of drinking out of my pineapple cup.

I have started a new years traditiona few yrs ago of drinking out of freshly cored pineapples. Started off with me and my Brother in law and now has grown.Last night I cored 12 pineapples. Whats better then fresh pineapple and melted caramel?? Wonder where I have had that before

And for those that missed it on FB here is my cup

Store here called Future Shop - they have it listed for $49.99 (not sure why it is so high when everyone else is cheaper).

They beat competitors prices by 10% of the difference.

So I saw the same DVD 9 disc set on at Best Buy (who by the way owns Future Shop) for $17.99. But they were out of stock.
Future Shop won't price match unless they were in Stock.

So I checked Wal-Mart, and they are $20 and the store near me has stock.

So the matched and beat by 10% of the difference.

The difference is $29.99 so 10% is $3.00

$20 - $3 = $17

Hey there Guys, especially the Cruising Loving ones. I just wanted to give you all a little info about my new venture, without too much info. As some of you know, I've expanded what I was originally doing with FTJ and went a different route (not that FTJ was wrong, I just wanted to be able to do a lot more and definitely do now). It is part 1 of our multi-phase plan to be in business for ourselves. 2012 will see phases 2 and 3 go into place soon. Many of you were already aware of my first site, as well as my blog. In other news - I leave for Aulani in just over 3 weeks. I'm so very excited. And a stay at VGC, afterwards. We're figuring out when our next WDW visit will be as a family - but I'm already pretty sure I'll be back down there in December... plus looking at the much discussed "Convention".
